Three Kind Of Binge Drinkers
1, The ‘fish’, who has always has binged.
2, The ‘have to finish the whole bottle every evening drinker’.
3, The co***ne user who gets drunk, uses a line to sober up.
The fish never learns to stop as often next day they function well and don't suffer hangovers like the rest of us.
They never learn their limits.
I see a lot of these "fish" in my clinic as overtime they realise they don't remember much of their evenings.
The bottle a night drinker…
What started out as just one glass occasionally allowing them to switch off at the end of the day can grow into a bottle at home most nights.
Sometimes when they come for help, they say they feel depressed but haven’t got any reason to be.
When we wean them off their habit and put boundaries in often their depression goes as alcohol is a depressant.
A new kind of binge drinker
A new kind of binge drinker is on the scene nowadays. The one who gets drunk and then has a line or two of co***ne to sober up and it does do that. Well, sort of they become alert and awake as co***ne is a stimulant and alcohol a depressant.
