π Weβre proud to welcome Dr Mark Esho MBE to our Board of Directors.
A tech entrepreneur turned resilience coach and social entrepreneur, Mark has built multiple successful businesses and now focuses on empowering others through investment, mentoring and social enterprise.
After contracting polio at the age of five and being given just a 10% chance of survival, Mark went on to thrive, earning an MBA from De Montfort University, founding several companies, and receiving an MBE in 2022 for services to business.
We are delighted to have Mark on board and look forward to the greater value and insight he will bring to our adventure as a grassroots organisation.
Welcome to the board, Mark. π
"Survival is the first victory, but true success is found in how you turn your challenges into opportunities for others." - Dr Mark Esho

A bit late, but better late than never hey, reminiscing over the sessions we delivered during the summer 2025, led by our lovely lively Zumba instructor.
Pay Β£2 per session to get a goody bag at the end of every 8 weeks and of course a party, special guests, food π. π€π
Also, a huge thanks to who came all the way from Coventry to deliver a drama session ππ½ππ½ππ½

Timber Mill Court crew. Theyβre a lively, joyful bunch who keep each other smiling (and occasionally winding each other up!). The banter between them is unmatched, and every visit is filled with laughter and love. I dropped by today with some Christmas treats, and as always, they made me feel right at home.
Nearly two Christmases in, and the Timber Mill Court crew still light up every visit. Full of laughs, cheeky banter, and big heartsβthey always make us feel loved.
R.I.P. Alex, one of the gentlest souls. Youβre deeply missed. ποΈ

Image Description: A vibrant announcement poster for a new guest at the "Birmingham Disability Festival." The background is a mix of purple and magenta with abstract, stylised illustrations of people and shapes, including a heart icon.
At the top, a large yellow banner features the text "New guest announcement" in small black letters, followed by "Lisa Ali" in larger black text. The "AUGMENTED LIFESTYLE" logo is on the right side of this banner. The "Birmingham Disability Festival" logo is vertically positioned on the left side of the poster. The central part of the poster features a headshot of Lisa Ali. She is a woman with dark hair, smiling and looking directly at the camera, with her hands on her hips. She is wearing a dark, possibly fleece, jacket with a colorful logo on the left chest. Behind her is a soft-focused background of purple and white balloons. Below her image, another yellow banner contains the text "Dynamic performer and movement artist." At the bottom of the poster, there is a comprehensive collection of logos from various partner organisations, including "Ways for Wellbeing," "BMet," "Aston University Birmingham UK," "British Judo," "Serco," "Midland Mencap," "Irwin Mitchell," and others.
