Aston Unity Cricket Club Aston Unity CC is a forward thinking club currently playing in the Warwickshire Cricket League Division 3, and the Lichfield & District League.

Founded in 1868, Aston Unity has a proud history going back to the founding of the Birmingham & District Cricket League when Unity won the inaugural competition in 1889. The Club runs three senior sides on Saturday, two senior sides on Sunday and one midweek team on Wednesday evenings. There is also youth provision for boys and girls aged 13 and under who benefit from a number of qualified coaches within the club.

This weeks 100 Club sees Diane Jordan wanting number 20 on 2 line. However we also have Rob McCarthy waiting for 1 number as well. Prize pot is now over £500!

It wasn’t quite to be for our 2s in a thriller against fellow high flyers Bridge Trust this weekend, losing by 2 wickets in the last over. Despite that, enough bonus points were earned to secure promotion with a game to spare. An excellent season with a number of players making important contributions throughout, especially Jim and Dave with the ball. Still an outside chance of taking the title, congrats also to Bridge Trust on their excellent season. Progress on the pitch continues with our 1s retaining an outside chance of promotion themselves to make it back to back
