Its tough to learn by doing something 1x/week
We learn skills through repetition, frequency and persistence.

If you were to train with me 1x/week you would need to have a lot of self-accountability and discipline on your end to continue exercising when we’re not working together.

So if you train with me once a week and
Skip all the other days of the week
Don’t focus on sleep
Don’t focus on healthy and balanced nutrition
Don’t get enough daily steps in
Skip workouts

Guess what?
You’re not going to get the results you’re after

And as a personal trainer, if clients don’t achieve their goals, I can end up getting the blame.
When actually its because of:
Lack of consistency
Skipping workouts
Not focussing on nutrition
Not prioritising sleep and recovery

If you don’t put in the effort away from our sessions, you can’t expect the results from just training with me.
It might sound harsh, but its true.

Anyone who tells you that you can spot reduce fat is lying to you.
There are no shortcuts when it comes to weight loss and targeting fat loss with specific exercises does not work.

Staying consistent, being in a calorie deficit and exercising your whole body will be what gets you to lose fat 💪🏼

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

Showing up everyday and doing what you can is the key to making progress. Achieving your goals is not about speed, shortcuts or quick wins, it’s about staying consistent and letting the momentum build day by day.

I would highly recommend tracking your calories!
Although you CAN still lose weight without tracking as long as you’re still taking the necessary steps to be in a calorie deficit 🥗

Strength training is the key to stay independent, age well and live life to the fullest!

You should be strength training AT LEAST twice a week and sessions should be 20-60 minutes long 💪🏼

Today we’re celebrating strong women everywhere - in the gym, in life and our community.

Personal training is my passion as well as my “job” and I love empowering women (& men), showing them how capable they are, helping them improve self-esteem, confidence, mental health, love who they are and feel strong enough both mentally and physically to take on whatever life throws at them!
However, I wouldn’t be in the position to be able to do all of this without support from the incredible women in my life 😊
