JJ Hooper has completed a move to Bishop Auckland.

Whilst we are disappointed, we understand his reasoning and financially cannot match what he was offered.

Bishop Auckland Football Club are pleased to announce the return of the “Music Festival” to the Vest Construction Stadium, Heritage Park!

On Saturday July 11th & Sunday July 12th 2026 we will be staging the "BishFest" with headliner band "Bad Manners" on the Saturday night along with 13 other bands over the 2 days.

Lots of supporters and people of BA have been asking when we can get a music festival back and with a lot of work behind the scenes from helpers/ organisers: Phil Graham, Alan Meadows, Andy Dichfield , Mark Charlton and Jack Purdham we have managed to get it organised.

This is a massive gamble for it to be a success and need everyone’s support to get behind it but with no Hardwick and no Glastonbury we are hoping for lots of support.

Headliner band "Bad Manners" is on Saturday night along with 6 other bands on Saturday 1pm - 10:00pm then 7 bands on Sunday 12pm - 8.00pm

Tickets are available on line on www.bishfest.co.uk or phoning / texting 07968426817 with Early bird tickets available until 01/04/26 or filling a form in at Bishops Museum shop or at Heritage Park reception.
