⚽️ FA Cup Regional Finals ⚽️

Yesterday we headed to Derby with a squad of 10 players to compete in the FA Cup Regional Finals, taking on four of the best teams from across the Midlands.

To come away with 2 wins and 2 defeats— with the losses being just 1-0 and 2-0 — is a fantastic achievement. Every single player gave their absolute all, showed great determination and played some brilliant football throughout the day.

A special mention to our goalscorer Kerry Jackson and to Nikki, who was, as always, a brilliantly organised captain and led the team superbly.

Nikki also chose Bex as her Player of the Day for an outstanding performance in goal.

So proud of every one of the squad. What a performance and what a day! 💪⚽️❤️

We're looking for new teams to register their interest in the Leicestershire & Rutland Walking Football League for the 2026/27 season.

With fixtures taking place once a month on Saturdays, it's a great way to enjoy competitive football in a welcoming environment.

Divisions available:
⚽ Mixed 50+
⚽ Mixed 60+
⚽ Women's 35+

🕘 Men's divisions play in the morning.
🕒 Women's division plays in the afternoon.

What a day! ⚽🏆 Yesterday we hosted our own tournament at our home ground, with two of our teams competing alongside eight visiting teams. The football on display was outstanding, the atmosphere was brilliant, and everyone played their part in making it such a memorable event. We’re especially proud to say that we went on to win the tournament! Congratulations to all our players who were fantastic throughout the day, and thank you to every team, coach, volunteer, and supporter who made the event such a success. Memories made and a trophy to show for it!
Captain Kirsten picked Donna as her Player of the tournament for the blue team and Captain Kerri picked Sophie for the white team.

Day 2 of football and today our ladies headed to Birmingham for the end of season showcase as we prepare to join their league next season.

We played 8 games, finishing with 3 wins and 5 draws, all of the draws ending 0-0. We didn’t lose a single game or concede a single goal all day.

We finished joint top of our final group, narrowly missing out on goal difference.

We came up against some great teams and played some fantastic football. Every single player was amazing today and absolutely on fire. So proud of them all! ⚽🔥

A special thank you to Kerry, who was our captain today and did a fantastic job. She chose Netty as her player of the day for making some great saves and not conceding all day. 👏
