And this is my actual class from today, not the ‘scaredy pants’ clear round, the BN 💪🏻 😂
Finished 4th with 1 down at fence 7 which set us up for a funny jump at fence 8 because we lost our rhythm a bit but I rode a couple of ‘jump off’ type turns for the first time with her as instructed by ‘the boss lady’ and she was a super star ⭐️ doesn’t look much on the video but it felt feckin amazing, fastest 4 faults 🤩 flying changes are still a work in progress 🙈

What I love about this clip is in the background you can hear ‘Fight Song’ which is so apt. I’m still fighting my inner demons that tell me I can’t but f*ck that! I can and I am!
I know that I’m riding a crest of a wave at the moment and that at any time something could set me back again but I don’t want or need to break records or please anyone else, this is for ME! This is MY story, MY recovery and MY life and I’m going to take it by the short and curlys and bloody enjoy it!

I am so so pleased with my ginger ninja this week and in myself if truth be told!
What a huge improvement in both her ride-ability and my riding! I could literally burst with joy and pride 🥰

Tuesday we tootled round the corner to Church Farm, we jumped a nice little clear round to start with. I’ve been doing the clear round “so that Lulu can have a look round” but it’s more for my confidence if I’m honest and it’s working, I’m getting to the stage where I can knock it on the head and just do my class in the not too distant future.

We had 1 down in the BN 🎥 but I was made up with her 🧡 we came 3rd and I got my entry money back which is a big bonus but more importantly I got the big thumbs up 👍🏻 from the ‘boss lady’ Jeanette Powell 😜😂
