Yesterday the club was invited to a Blue plaque unveiling in Sheffield for a former Blackburn Olympic player who won the FA Cup with the club back in 1883 beating Old Etonians who were the holders of the worlds oldest footballing competition, made famous by the Netflix series The English Game

Jack Hunter Moved to Lancashire to be a landlord but History says he was pushed out because he was being paid to play and that was frowned upon

Jack was laid to rest here in 1903 at Blackburn Cemetery

The club are proud to announce that we will be entering a second team into the Blackburn District Football League for the upcoming season! ⚽

Following the success of this season, we now have the opportunity to continue growing the club and expanding our pathway for players.

Our teams for next season will be:

🔵 U18s Sunday – ELFA
🔵 Reserves Saturday – BDFL
🔵 First Team Saturday – BDFL

This is a huge step forward for the club and an exciting time to get involved.
