🎟️⚽ A VERY SPECIAL TICKET GIVEAWAY WINNER! ⚽🎟️
We’ve got a very special update from our football ticket giveaway, which was held to help raise money for our club.

Our winner was Jaxon’s mum, and we couldn’t be happier to see these tickets going to such a deserving family!
Jaxon has only just started his Blackwood Town journey with our U11s, and unfortunately, he had a little accident over the weekend and ended up in hospital after breaking his elbow.

So, what better way to cheer him up than enjoying Wales vs Norway together!
His mum was absolutely over the moon to win the tickets, and we’re so pleased that we could give this lovely little family something to smile about after a tough few days.
And a HUGE thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and supported our fundraiser.
Together, you helped us raise £63 for Blackwood Town FC!

We hope Jaxon has an amazing time watching the game — and we’re wishing him a speedy recovery!
Get well soon, Jaxon!

What a game from our U15 boys yesterday! 👏🏻

Well, another week, another cracking game for our u12 team.

The boys showed incredible character today. They didn’t lose their heads, kept fighting and turned the game around with an outstanding first half performance. The effort and determination from every player was exceptional!

Then in the second half, you boys really turned it up! A fantastic team performance and a well deserved win. 👏

Well done Finlee, Jack and Jesse for being picked as our Players of the Day thoroughly deserved! 🏆

📢 BLACKWOOD TOWN FC | SEPTEMBER 2026 UPDATE

September has been another busy and exciting month for Blackwood Town FC, with all our teams now well into the 2026/27 season and working hard in weekly training sessions and matches, both through the week and at weekends.

Winter training is coming!
We’re now moving our teams into their winter training arrangements, with our younger teams heading indoors and our older teams making use of astro facilities. Let’s hope the Welsh weather is kind to us this winter!

A huge thank you to our Club Secretary Nadine, who has worked incredibly hard behind the scenes organising all of our winter training a mammoth task and very much appreciated!

A first for our U7s!
Our U7 team played their first ever match in the Islwyn League, marking another exciting milestone in their football journey. We’re so proud of how far this little team has already come!

Welcome to all our new players & families!
We’ve welcomed lots of new players and their families to Blackwood Town over the past few months, and it’s fantastic to see our club continuing to grow.

We’ve also seen our amazing team of coaches and helpers grow, which is so important as our club continues to expand.

Our club simply would not exist without our volunteers.

Every coach, helper, committee member and volunteer who gives up their time around work, family and everyday life plays a huge part in making Blackwood Town FC what it is. Thank you! 👏

Senior 1st Team
Our Senior 1st Team have made a fantastic start to the season and have so far remained unbeaten! 💪

Supporting the next generation of coaches
We’ve also welcomed a couple of college students who are joining us to gain valuable experience and develop their coaching skills while helping with our junior teams. We’re really pleased to be able to support them as they begin their coaching journeys.

It’s been another month of growth, football, teamwork and community at Blackwood Town FC and there’s plenty more to come!

Match update for our u11 boys team from Sunday's match..

Well done to our u11 boys team extremely proud of all the boys again today! Great attitude from start to finish and played some really good football. Again, some unlucky results that we should have had go our way but if we keep playing like we have done those results will come.

MOTM- Will

Some out of this world saved today and he’s really starting show a lot more confidence in coming to claim the ball. Distribution was outstanding once again also.

MOTM- Josh

Showed an excellent turn of pace and beat his man multiple times causing the opposition defence a lot of problems and unlucky not to get himself a deserved goal.

Really pleased with how the lads are playing and there are plenty more positives to come

Well done all💙⚽️
