❌ GAME OFF ❌
Tomorrow’s Bob Annett Cup fixture has been postponed yet again, with the opposition unable to field a team. After the lads have trained, prepared and looked forward to another competitive fixture, it’s incredibly frustrating to have another Saturday without a game.

That’s now yet another postponement, and unfortunately it leaves us without a fixture this weekend. 😤

There’s nothing we can do about it now other than move on, dust ourselves down and get back to work.

Our focus immediately turns to next weekend, when we face one of our biggest tests of the season — an away trip to a strong Garnlydan side in the league.

Both sides are unbeaten, so it promises to be a huge game and one the lads will be desperate to get stuck into🔴⚫️

🔴⚫ FULL TIME | PENGAM B&G 2–4 BLACKWOOD TOWN ⚫🔴

A win on the road, but definitely not our best performance today. We know we can play much better, but credit where it’s due — Pengam B&G Seniors were on point throughout and made it a really tough game for us. 👏⚽

A huge thank you to Pengam BGC Seniors for the hospitality and a great welcome. 🤝

We’ll take the three points and look to improve, but we’re already looking forward to seeing you all again for the reverse fixture. 🔄

Well played, lads! 👏

💛 WORLD SU***DE PREVENTION DAY 💛

Today, Blackwood Town Boys & Girls FC is proud to support World Su***de Prevention Day.

We are more than just a football club. ⚽️ We are a community, a team and a family and we want everyone who is part of our club to know that they are never alone.

Sometimes the person standing beside you on the pitch, sitting in the changing room or cheering from the sidelines may be struggling more than you realise.

💙 Ask how someone really is.

💛 Listen without judgement.

💙 Be there.

💛 Encourage them to talk and seek help.

You don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes simply saying “I'm here if you need me” can make a difference.

As a large and growing club, we want to create an environment where people feel safe to talk about how they are feeling because it's OK not to be OK, and asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.

Let's look out for our teammates, our friends, our families and our community.

💛🐝 GOOD LUCK SIAN! 🐝💛

Everyone at Blackwood Town FC would like to wish a huge good luck to Sian from Penmaen Café & Grill, our Senior Team Food Sponsor, who is taking on the Cardiff 10K today for a cause incredibly close to her heart.

Sian is running in memory of her much-loved nephew Jimmy, who sadly passed away recently, and is raising money for Jimmy’s Memorial Fund. 💛

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Sian and Penmaen Cafe & Grill do to support our senior teams, and today it’s our turn to get behind her.

Go smash it, Sian! 💪🏻
We’ll all be cheering you on from Blackwood. 💙💛

For Jimmy 🐝💛

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — Oliver Thomas
Outstanding from start to finish. Oliver was absolutely superb throughout and fully deserved the MOTM award. 👏💙

🫏 DONKEY OF THE MATCH — Evan Bowden
A special award for Evan after making some very questionable decisions as referee today… 😂🫏 We’ll let him explain himself! Also- Evan was very adamant he didn’t want a picture uploaded this time🙈

🍽️ A massive thank you, as always, to our food sponsor Penmaen Cafe for sorting the boys out with food post-match. We really appreciate your continued support! ❤️💚
