Blairgowrie Rugby & Ale Festival

That was the Ale Festival that was.... A massive thank you to everyone, from the organising committee, the sponsors, stallholders, the rugby players, the bands, not to mention the legions of volunteers who give their time to put the festival together. And most importantly you - the attendees - without whom it would not be the huge success that it is. As we nurse our hangovers and look forward to next year, here are some highlights from the day!

Welcome on stage our evening act - COVER DADDY

Well folks, we've just enjoyed a thrilling 10s rugby tournament, the day is still young and the sun has just come out over JJ Coupar - the party is just getting started!!

Just over an hour in, the sun is shining and the first rugby games have been completed. We're just getting started here! Come on down to the grounds - remember entry is free!

Well, the day is almost upon us. The prep is done and we are all set for Saturday. The festival has grown to become one of the biggest events in the town's social calendar and we hope to see you all down at the grounds for what hopefully will be a day of great rugby, good cheer and some great memories.

It has been a hive of activity today at the sports grounds as we begin setting up for the big day - only two more sleeps to go!
