Marie Curie is the UK's leading end-of-life charity providing nursing, hospice care, and free support for people with terminal illnesses and their families.

A big thank you to Empire School of Boxing, who will once again be sponsoring Destiny Ditchburn this season.

Empire School of Boxing on Cowpen Road is another major part of Blyth's sporting heritage and has provided training to countless people in the town over the years, including Destiny herself!

Destiny has been with us since the beginning, making 34 appearances so far for her hometown club.

💚Louisa Paxton💚

It was a superb performance from Louisa Paxton in goal on Sunday, as she pulled off save after save against an absolutely relentless Allotment side. In the first half especially, she left the opposition strikers frustrated with some of her acrobatics, leaping across the face of goal to make some brilliant blocks. Without her, the scoreline could very well have been double figures!

In particular, one corner whipped into the box looked certain to be going in when an opposition player connected with the ball, only for Louisa to pull off a worldie of a reflex save to keep it out.

Louisa is sponsored by Esther Malynowskj, who was in attendance at St Thomas More High School to see her play.

Before kickoff on Sunday, we came together to recognise the incredible support of Blyth Spartans super fan Esther Malynowskj and presented her with a 2025/26 training top as way of appreciation.

A long time supporter of the men's team, Esther immediately got behind the new Women's team and has not only been cheering us on from the sidelines home and away, but often shows her support at training too!

Sponsoring both player Louisa Paxton and manager Linda Bush, we are so grateful for everything Esther does for us. Thank you Esther! 💚
