Every day we get a little closer to opening the doors of SensAble, and every day we become even more excited about the difference it could make to the lives of children and young people.
We are incredibly proud to announce that our curriculum is now in place for Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 learners. As we continue to develop our programmes, one thing has become very clear – there is a huge need for a place like SensAble.
Not every child thrives in a mainstream school environment, and that’s okay.
SensAble has been created for those children and young adults who need something different. A place where they can feel safe, valued, understood, and supported to be themselves. A place where learning is not defined by sitting behind a desk all day, but by creativity, exploration, practical experiences, and building confidence.
We believe every young person has strengths, talents, and potential. Sometimes they just need the right environment to discover them.
At SensAble, learners will be encouraged to express their emotions, develop life skills, build positive relationships, and engage in learning in ways that inspire them. Our focus is not only on education but on wellbeing, personal development, and preparing young people for a brighter future.
This isn’t about replacing school. It’s about providing opportunities, support, and understanding for those who need an alternative pathway to success. This is not a traditional classroom environment. Instead, we offer a safe, supportive, and creative space where children and young adults can learn through meaningful experiences, develop practical skills, explore their interests, and express their emotions without fear of judgement.
We are creating more than a provision – we are creating a community where every young person can feel seen, heard, and capable of achieving great things.
