There was lots of batting brilliance on display tonight.

My favourite part was watching our coaches assemble the new net. I reckon by the end of the season you can get it down to 5 minutes 😆.

The rain held off for our U13 team tonight and they played their first match of the season.

There was excellent fielding, bowling and teamwork on display. Well done everyone 👏 🎉🎊

It was another sunny evening for our Junior Cricketers last night. They worked in groups to hone their skills.

We are back outside for training and the sunshine was glorious (we aren't mentioning the wind chill factor).

The teams worked with all our coaches on fielding skills today and played a game to end the session.

It was lovely to see old and new faces tonight 😊.

In practice today our U9s got to experience the hard ball and all the gear. Then there was a Beat the Coach game to solidify their learning.

The Tuesday Technique for our U11s and U13s was fielding. There were lots of drills including bunny hops and catching at all angles. The team then moved to different zones to work individually on their batting and bowling with the coaches. And finally a game of hit and run to end the evening.

There was lots of hard work and concentration tonight. Thanks everyone ☺️

It isn't long until the cricket season starts and we all get to enjoy the fresh air and lighter evenings.

Our Tuesday Technique today was fielding.

Tonight our U9s learned that catches win matches! Then they got to try putting on pads, gloves and helmets and began their journeys with the hard ball. We promise that all the pads and protective gear stops feeling weird after a while.

Our U11s worked on fielding positions in game scenarios.
