Another strong evening of work from our Bolton Metro Swim Squad Performance & National Squad as preparations continue for the Summer National Championship season.

With 14 swimmers set to compete at the British, English, Scottish and Welsh National Championships this July, every session counts. Tonight's focus was on building strength, power, resilience and movement quality to support performance in the pool during the most important part of the season.

The commitment, professionalism and work ethic on display continue to set the standard. The hard work being done now lays the foundation for success when it matters most.

The effort, attitude, and teamwork on show tonight were outstanding from start to finish. These sessions are about more than just getting stronger β€” they help develop movement quality, stability, coordination, resilience, and confidence, all of which transfer directly into the pool.

It’s great seeing the swimmers push themselves, encourage each other, and continue building healthy habits both physically and mentally. The future is bright with this group! πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

One week on from Deadly Dozen… and we’re still buzzing from it πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸ”₯

The performances, the atmosphere, the support from everyone in the room β€” it was something special. Seeing athletes push beyond limits and achieve WORLD RECORDS and top 3 worldwide finishes is something we’ll never forget πŸ†

But more than the results, it was the community that made the day what it was. Competitors cheering each other on, volunteers helping everywhere, judges keeping standards high, and the music keeping the energy alive from start to finish πŸ™Œ

Huge thank you again to everyone who took part, supported, judged, spectated and helped make the event unforgettable.

This was more than just a workout.

Back with Group B from Bolton Swimming Club last night after my holiday β€” and what a welcome back! πŸ’™πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

This awesome group brought the energy, effort, and plenty of smiles to land training. Sessions like these are so important for young athletes, helping to build strength, coordination, balance, and confidence in movement. Strength training also supports injury prevention, improves posture, and develops the power needed to become stronger, faster swimmers in the pool.

Huge shoutout to my amazing athlete who absolutely smashed theΒ Bolton Half MarathonΒ today! πŸ’₯πŸ”₯

On a tough, hilly and twisty course at theΒ Bolton Half Marathon, she ran her heart out to place πŸ₯‡Β 1st 40+Β and an incredibleΒ 4th overall!

To top it off, she finished justΒ 50 seconds off her PBΒ β€” on a course that definitely wasn’t built for fast times. That shows strength, grit, and serious race ex*****on.

Couldn’t be prouder of the work she’s put in and how she showed up today. She didn’t just run it… she absolutely crushed it. πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
