Our first Parkrun as a family! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈβ€οΈ

Yesterday we all ran parkrun UK together with boltonswimclub and what a brilliant morning it was!

The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was so encouraging, welcoming and supportive, which made it such a great experience for all of us.

And the kids absolutely smashed it! πŸ‘

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Lyla absolutely crushed it, finishing 2nd in the 11–14 year old girls! πŸ₯ˆπŸ”₯

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Malachi ran further than he has ever run before and completed the course in 43 minutes β€” not bad for a 4-year-old! 😍πŸ’ͺ

Really proud of both of them, and it was so lovely being able to do it together as a family.

Definitely one we’ll be doing again! ❀️

πŸ’™ THE FINAL BOOTCAMP πŸ’™

And just like that… my final bootcamp is done, and my time as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach has come to an end.

13 years.

13 incredible years of memories, friendships, challenges, events, laughter, sweat, tears, successes, setbacks, ups and downs. When I look back, I honestly feel incredibly proud of everything we've achieved together.

My gym has been so much more than just a place to train. It's been a place where people have walked through the doors wanting to get stronger, fitter, healthier or more confident β€” and I've had the absolute privilege of being part of so many people's journeys.

I've watched people transform their bodies, achieve things they never thought possible, return from injury, prepare for competitions, chase sporting dreams, build confidence and, most importantly, become stronger versions of themselves.

I've trained athletes, teams, families, friends and complete strangers who, over the years, became friends.

And to every single person who has ever stepped through the doors of my gym, attended a bootcamp, joined a class, had a PT session, trained with me, trusted me with their goals, or simply supported my business β€” thank you. ❀️

You have all played a part in my journey, and I will forever be grateful for that.

There have been some incredible highs and some incredibly difficult lows over the last 13 years, but through it all, the people I've met and the memories we've created will stay with me forever.

Walking away from something that has been such a huge part of my life for so long is incredibly emotional, but I leave feeling grateful rather than sad.

Grateful for the opportunities.
Grateful for the friendships.
Grateful for the lessons.
Grateful for the memories.
And grateful for every single one of you.

This may be the end of my chapter as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach, but the impact you've all had on my life will never be forgotten.

So, from the bottom of my heart…

Thank you for 13 incredible years.

Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for sweating with me.
Thank you for laughing with me.
Thank you for sticking with me

πŸ’™πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ THE FINAL SESSION πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ’™

After almost four incredible years, my time training this amazing group from boltonswimclub has come to an end.

It’s incredibly difficult to put into words what this group has meant to me. Watching these young athletes grow, develop, gain confidence, and progress both in and out of the pool has been one of the biggest highlights of my career.

Over the years, my gym has been filled with hard work, laughter, challenges, sweat, determination, and so many great memories. But perhaps the most special thing has been watching the team bond grow stronger and stronger. Seeing friendships develop, athletes supporting one another, and the group becoming a real team has been genuinely amazing to witness.

I feel incredibly proud to have played a small part in their journey and to have watched so many of them grow into the athletes and young people they are today.

A huge thank you to every single athlete for your hard work, commitment, energy, and for making every session so enjoyable. You have been an absolute pleasure to train, and I will miss seeing you all in my gym every week.

A massive thank you also to all the coaches and parents for your support, trust, and encouragement over the years. It has been a privilege to work alongside you all.

Four years is a long time, and this group will always hold a very special place in my career and in my gym. πŸ’™

Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the hard work.

And most importantly… keep pushing, keep believing, and keep being an awesome team.

I’m incredibly proud of every single one of you.

Good luck for everything that comes next. I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines. πŸ’™πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ

πŸ’— THE FINAL PILATES SESSION πŸ’—

Today was a very special and emotional one as Sara taught her final Pilates session.

The last few years have been a real roller coaster, with plenty of highs and lows along the way, but throughout it all, this incredible group have been there with so much love, kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support.

To watch the journey of this group has been truly amazing. The progression everyone has made, not just physically but in confidence, strength, and belief in themselves, has been incredible to see.

Sara, you should be so incredibly proud of what you have built with this wonderful group. The friendships, the laughter, the support, and the community you've created are something really special.

A huge thank you to every single person who has shown up, supported each other, worked hard, and made every session what it was. You have all played such an important part in Sara's journey, and I know she will carry those memories with her for a very long time.

Today may have been the final session, but the friendships, memories, and progress you've all made will last far beyond it.

Thank you for everything. πŸ’—

What an amazing group of people. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

What a session with this brilliant group last night! β˜€οΈπŸ’ͺπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ
Bolton Amateur Swimming Club

The temperature was high, the gym was warm, but that didn't stop these young athletes from giving everything they had during their strength and conditioning session. Their effort, determination, and positive attitude throughout the evening were outstanding.

Training in challenging conditions helps build resilience, mental toughness, and confidence, and this group showed all three in abundance. Despite the heat, they stayed focused, supported one another, and absolutely crushed the session.

A huge well done to every swimmer for turning up, working hard, and proving that great attitudes produce great results. The work done outside the pool is helping to build stronger, more confident athletes for the future. πŸ”₯πŸ‘

πŸ’ͺ Calisthenics Night for the Bolton Metro Performance & National Squad πŸ’ͺ

Tonight's strength and conditioning session focused on a challenging calisthenics workout, developing the body control, strength, stability and resilience needed to perform at the highest level in the pool.

With 14 swimmers preparing to compete at the British, English, Scottish and Welsh National Championships this July, the work being done outside the water is just as important as the work being done in it.

From push-ups and burpees to core work and movement challenges, the squad attacked every exercise with determination and focus. The commitment to continuous improvement is what separates good athletes from great ones.

Finishing with 5 min 30 sec plank
