Little lever under 10s tigers

Another game for the boys Saturday and they didn’t disappoint coming out 4-0 winners against a team that beat us on pens in the cup 2 week before.
After not taking their chances few week ago in the cup and coming up short, this week it definitely wasn't the case.
The lads bossed the game from start to finish
The three midfielders were creating plenty of chances with some fantastic passing moves and drive down both wings. But then we finally got the breakthrough after a super cross from Harrison P Jasper was there to put the ball away with a nice finish
Then archie got on the score sheet with a close range finish from a cross from Jasper that made it 2.
George then got in on the act to make it 3 with a brilliant finish.
2nd half was just as good with Archie getting his 2nd and final goal of the game.
Fantastic win for the boys with every single lad putting a shift in. hopefully another tomorrow

Boys were at it again Saturday and didn’t disappoint. Playing a team who beat us 9-5 just before Christmas, game started off fairly even but didn’t take long for the boys to get going scoring some quality goals and going in at half time with a healthy lead with goals from Archie and James, second half we started like we ended the first with James and Jasper finishing the game off with some brilliant finishes, we played some fantastic football and didn’t give the other team a sniff at goal with some brilliant defending to keep a clean sheet and run out 6-0 winners.

Cmotm: James- fantastic all game bossed it in cm with his constant pressure and tackling and ran the defenders ragged on the wings and managed to grab him self 2 brilliant well deserved goals.

PPOTM: Jasper -fantastic display from Jasper one of if not his best performances of the season so far, his dribbling and passing were brilliant and scored two cracking goals with one direct from a corner.

We go again tomorrow now and hopefully get another win on the board! ⚽️

The boys are getting back to it after a Christmas break.
After not taking their chances last week and coming up short, this week it definitely wasn't the case.
The lads bossed the game from start to finish with Cole pretty much being a spectator for most of the game in net.
The three midfielders were creating plenty of chances with some fantastic passing moves and drive down both wings. But then we finally got the breakthrough after a super cross from jasper archie was there to put the ball away.
Then George, with a fantastic finish that went crossbar and in made it 2.
Shortly after, archie was there again to poke home from close range for his 2nd of the game.
More of the same in the 2nd half, with luca getting the final goal after a pass into him a nice touch and run through a calm finish into the corner.
Fantastic win for the boys with every single lad putting a shift in. hopefully another this weekend.

Krish was superb in defense, not letting anyone get past with great tackle, but was also fantastic at playing the ball forward.

James nonstop running down the wings in the 1st half, causing problems all the time. 2nd hald moved to Central Midfield and was brilliant with constant breaking up plays and getting the attack going.

Absolutely fantastic performance from every single one of the lads on Saturday to come away with a very hard fought but very deserving win.
Playing against a team that just joined our league, they were a bit of an unknown ability, and the opposition started really well taking the lead and putting us under pressure.
But the lads dug in and kept to our own game plan, and it paid off getting an equaliser through archie, winning a penalty and converting it himself with a nice cool finish.
2nd half was a very even matchup with both sides having chances, but it was jasper who won it with great finish from the right side of the box after a superb assist from coby.
The boys saw the game out with great teamwork and some fantastic saves from Cole to earn the win.
Every lad put 10/10 effort into this game, so they should all be super proud.

A weeks break for the boys and they came back firing on all cylinders.
They didn't miss a beat. Every single lad played superb from the 1st minute to the last.
1st half, they scored 4 goals and really took control of the game with some fantastic wing play, causing constant threats all the time.
The lads were also playing 9v9 for a change, and they really got to grips with using the extra 2 players to passing and opening the opposition up.
The 2nd half was more of the same, getting another 2 goals. Great defensively all game as well not really give Cole much ti do in net. But when he did, he was there to do his job.
Fantastic result and hopefully more of the same this weekend.

Harrison T was fantastic in front of the 2 defenders and was constantly getting the ball moving forward, creating attacks.
Was his shot that led to the 1st goal taking a deflection past the keeper.

James played superb on both the right and left sides of the attacking forwards getting past his man to create scoring opportunities. Also on corner duties which caused panic everytime he took one.

1st half was arguably the best attacking football they've played so far. Was attack after attack all game, and they were rewarded with 5 1st half goals from George James archie James and luca.
Some of the link up play was fantastic and the through balls for the goals sensational. Really couldn't have asked for a neater 1st half off every lad for full effort in.
2nd half didn't go as well, and the other team managed to get back to 1 behind, but the boys kept their focus for the last 5-10 mins to see the game out. Things to work on in trying but some great positives to take from the game. Pushes us to 4 wins 1 draw and 1 loss for the season so far, so great start to the season for the tigers.

James, they just couldn't really control him all game. He used his speed and his tricks to constantly keep getting past players and scored two great finishes.

Probably the best performance so far from them the boys were brilliant from first whistle to the last.
With brilliant link up plays from midfield to striker and wingers causing problems all the time with runs down the byline putting dangerous balls into the box, creating multiple chances. Their keeper kept the score to only 2-0 in the first half with goals from archie and James.
2nd half was more of the same again constant pressure and was rewarded with 3 more goals from archie jasper and Harvey.
They've really settled into this next tier like they've belonged there all the time and really great to see the smiles on all the lads' faces.

Archie, from his dribbling to his tracking back to his tackling and shooting all game he was outstanding. Got his 2 goals and an assist couldn't have asked for a better performance from him.

Harvey, like always, did not give the opposition a single minute of rest with constant pressure and breaking play up.

Finally, what the boys have been waiting for. The start of the new season.
After last seasons impressive finish, we were rewarded with being moved up to the next tier, so hopefully, the boys will rise to the challenge.

They certainly started this week like that coming out on top against a strong team thar was quite a bit bigger than ours but never affected them like it would have last season. They went in at half time 2 up in an evenly battled game. The first goal came from a free kick for Harrison potts that managed to go through everyone straight into the net.
2nd you could really see the work from training. Harrison T playing a perfect through ball for George to run onto who put a fantastic finish past the keeper.
2nd half the opposition put some more pressure on and got a goal back but we managed to seal it with a 3rd goal fom jasper after the keeper saved the first shot jasper managed a super finish from a tight angle.

You couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. Hopefully, they will keep this up, and we'll be looking at going up another tier sooner than
later.

A top performance from the boys' last weekend showed just how far they've come.
We played this team in our 2nd game of the season and got battered of them.
But not this time they've shown just how much they've listened and learnt and took on board what we’ve asked of them.
In a tight first half, we led 2-1 with goals from the returning archie and James.
2nd half, they really dominated play against a strong physical side as well.
Scoring another 3 goals from Harvey, an own goal, then James rounding out the 5-1 score with his second.

Oh boy, what a performance this was from the boys on Saturday
Just when you think they couldn't get any better, they did running out 8-2 winner's
From first whistle to the last, they didn't put a foot wrong.
The boys listened, which is hard for 8-9 year old lads most days, they played some superb football at times, constantly creating chances. Never really gave up much clear-cut chances to the other team and played as a team together.
Had 6 scorers this week Harvey Luca Harrison T George with goal each then Lucas and James bagging a brace.
If the boys carry on playing like this, then we hope for a good run in the end of season cup.

Back at it again this weekend for the boys after a mini break and boy they haven't missed a beat.
It was probably one of if not their best performance of the season so far with a well deserved win.
On what was a challenging pitch at times, they've truly taken training into the games, with some fantastic link up play all game down the left side.
Boys took a 1-0 lead thanks to some great play from coby, then finished by luca.
Harrison T then put us 2-1 in front in the 2nd half with a fantastic run and finish into the bottom corner, then jasper rounding out the result with a poachers finish to make it 3-1.
Could’ve been more if it weren’t for opposition keeper making some good saves and hitting the post 3 times, every single lad put in a great performance from start to finish, and the smile on their faces at the end showed it.
Hopefully, it will be more of the same to finish the season.
