A huge congratulations to all of our medal winners from the weekend! 👏🏼

Every medal represents some brilliant Ju Jitsu, determination and courage to step onto the mat and compete in front of everyone.

We saw some fantastic performances across every age group and category, and we couldn’t be prouder of how everyone represented LWJJC ❤️

Of course, medals only tell part of the story — we’re incredibly proud of every single person who competed and gave it their all.

But for now… a big round of applause for our 2026 medallists! 🥇🥈🥉👏🏼

A huge well done to every single competitor who stepped onto the mats for our Summer Competition yesterday! 👏🏼

Whether you walked away with a medal or not, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves 👏

It takes confidence to get out there, compete in front of everyone and put your Ju Jitsu into practice … and there were some fantastic performances throughout the day! 🙌🏼

And an equally huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make the day happen. From refereeing and judging to keeping tournaments moving, organising competitors, keeping scores and helping behind the scenes … days like yesterday simply wouldn’t be possible without people giving up their time to help 🫶🏼

We’re incredibly lucky to have such a brilliant group of students, families, coaches and volunteers around the club.

Now we’ve had a chance to recover 😂, we can’t wait to start sharing some of the photos and videos from the day! 📸🎥

☀️💦 SENSEIS’ SUMMER SIZZLER 2026 💦☀️

Yesterday was our annual Summer Sizzler… a chance to get our amazing volunteer team and their families together for an afternoon away from the club 🥰

And, as you can probably tell, things got just a little competitive once the water guns came out 😂🔫💦

We host this every year for one very important reason… to say thank you! 🙏

LWJJC simply wouldn’t be what it is without the people who give up their own time and energy to help our club week after week. Whether that’s coaching on the mats, helping behind the scenes, supporting at events or simply being there whenever we need an extra pair of hands… it all matters ❤️

Words genuinely can’t express how much we value everything our volunteers do for our club and our students 🥹🥋

So yesterday was about you — good food, families, plenty of laughs and apparently getting absolutely soaked in the process 😂💦

Thank you for everything you give to LWJJC. We are incredibly lucky to have such a special team around us.🥰

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who still chose to spend their evening training with us tonight, despite such a special event happening outside 🌘❤️

One of the things we value most about LWJJC is the community we’ve built, and tonight was one of those moments that really brought home just how special that community is 🥹

In between training, glasses were passed around and shared, making sure that everyone… adults and children alike, had the opportunity to step outside and experience the eclipse safely together!

There was something really special about seeing everyone gathered outside, sharing a moment that many of us will remember for a long time ✨

Tonight felt like so much more than just another evening of classes… This is what community looks like. And we’re incredibly proud of ours ❤️🖤

🥋🏆 SUMMER CLUB COMPETITION ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN! 🏆🥋

Our members-only club competition takes place on Saturday 22 August 2026, and members can now book their place through the GymDesk app or online.

💷 Entry fee: £3 per competitor

Once booked, you’ll be sent the 2026 Summer Competition Entry Form to complete with the competitor’s age, approximate weight and chosen categories.

Competitors can enter more than one eligible category:

🥋 Ages 5–7: Back to Back
🥋 Ages 8+: Back to Back, Points Fighting, Randori and Sport Jitsu

Please book and complete the form by Sunday 16 August so we have enough time to organise suitable groups and matches.

This is a club competition for current members only.

Not competing this time? Volunteers and spectators are still very welcome to come along and support everyone! ❤️🖤

☀️ What a fantastic first Summer Social Session! 🎉

From giant inflatables and Mario Kart battles to crafts, games and plenty of laughter, it was brilliant to see everyone enjoying the space together over the summer holidays ❤️

These sessions are all about giving families somewhere safe, fun and affordable to spend a couple of hours, catch up with friends and make new memories 🙌🏼

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made our first one such a success! 🙏

A massive thank you to Ice Entertainment UK for helping make our first Summer Social Session such a success. The children absolutely loved meeting Batman, and he was definitely one of the highlights of the afternoon! ☀️👏
