A dominant 7-2 victory with some good pool played from both teams but ultimately it came down to who could stay calm on the table first.
After a slow start Adam and Mark punished mistakes from Phil Haque and Mohammed Amran Zaman and took control of the game,
A late rally from Phil and Mo to pull it back to 6-2 looked like they might pull it back but it wasn't to be with Adam and Mark taking control with a great finish to take the game.

Well done Adam and Mark and commiserations to Phil and Mo, 4 top players who have overcome all challengers to get to final.

Harry wins despite a spirited comeback from Adam who looked dead and buried at 6-0 down.

Adam then pulled 3 quick frames back including a great 8 ball finish from the break.

It looked like Adam was about to get a fourth frame but rattled his last ball on a double and Harry showed his class to finish the game.

All in all a fantastic final between 2 great players who have both overcome a difficult route to get to the final.

Big congratulations to the volunteer, played their last game of the season tonight beating the new inn 4-3 to win the league.

A new team and a great venue to the league this season, quality table hosting a team who have played consistently well throughout, a great set of lads who have been popular throughout the season with all teams have n the league.

With the doubles taking priority on Monday there was still one rearranged league game played.

In today's Bolton & District Pool League action, Tansy Green narrowly defeated New Inn with a score of 4-3. The match saw strong performances from both sides. For New Inn, Chris Birkhead, Dave Atherton, and Steve Hunt each secured a win. Tansy Green's victory was driven by wins from Wayne Newnes, Brian Fielding, Cameron Brown, and Steve Farnworth.

As a result of this match, there have been some changes in the league standings. New Inn moved up one position, now sitting at 6th place, having played 15 matches with a total of 67 points. This shift caused Beaumont Sharks to drop to 7th position, despite their points remaining unchanged at 67. Tansy Green, although victorious, maintained their 9th position with their points increasing from 49 to 55 after 14 matches.
