Finding the right swimming lessons for a child with additional needs isn’t always straightforward.

At Splash Stars, we provide a calm, structured and supportive environment where every child is given the time, space and guidance they need to progress at their own pace.

We are fully inclusive across all of our lessons and also offer:

Small group SEN lessons (max 4 swimmers, with adult support in the water)
SEN sessions for independent swimmers ready to progress further
1:1 private lessons starting next month for more tailored support

Our teaching approach is hands-on, patient and consistent, with a strong focus on building confidence, water safety and long-term independence.

We also support complete beginners, so whether your child is new to the water or already swimming, we will place them in the right stage.

We currently have limited spaces available across Bolton, Radcliffe and Whitefield, including:

SEN small group sessions (very limited availability)
Beginner lessons for children aged 4+
Pathway options for those ready to progress

With practice and determination, Imran said that Sammy has grown in confidence since feeling nervous about putting his face in the water.

Last week he achieved a huge milestone of putting his face in and even collected a sinker from the bottom of the pool! WELL DONE!
