Great Lever Park Bowling Club

Great Lever Bowling Club is continuing its Taster Sessions throughout August and into September! 🎳

Come along every Friday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm and try your hand at a great sport.

Whether you’re young or old, completely new to bowling or just fancy giving it a go, everyone is welcome!

Come down, have some fun and see what bowls is all about. 🙌

On Tuesday, members competed for the Smiths Cup in what turned out to be a great afternoon of bowling. 🏆

The day culminated in a final between Rick Sykes and Keith Schofield, with Rick coming out on top to win the trophy. A special mention must go to Keith, our newest bowling member, for a fantastic performance and reaching the final. 👏

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the members who organised the social luncheon before the bowling began. ☀️

🏆 The Marginson Cup was held on Tuesday for all club members and was enjoyed by everyone who took part.

Congratulations to Harry Simpson on winning the competition, and well done to Rod Cuming who finished as runner-up.

Thanks to everyone who organised the latest social luncheon down at the Club. The Fish and Chips option proved a big success! Nobody was happier than Walter Callow who picked up two loaves of Kingsmill bread as a final raffle prize! See you all at the Christmas Party in December!

Great Lever Family Hub continue to host I.T. Workshops every Monday morning between 9.30 and 11.30am for those wanting to improve their computer skills. Sessions run until December 15th.

The final of the BetFred Trophy was held on Friday 29th August at Great Lever Bowling Club. A close final was eventually won by Kevin Latham who beat Ray Perry 15-14. Congratulations to everyone who took part in this years competition.

Congratulations to Clive who beat Brenda in an all Fenn Final at the latest bowling competition held at the Club. 🏆
