It’s been brought to my attention that there is someone trying to scam people using this page name as a work place.

I can confirm this guy has nothing to do with myself or this page. Please be aware 👀💚

On the left we have what was dropped off to me. And on the right, a few weeks later, we have the finished article.

The customer wanted to keep things original on this 1984 burner and I think we’ve achieved that 🎉

Some good progress has been made with the burner so far, it’s already looking like a different bike.

We have got a nice set of original handlebars, a nice polished SR stem added to the parts list amongst some other bits which will be staying quiet until the owner picks it up as I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

Oh, and also, picking original stickers off a nearly 40 year old bike was fun…….. for my daughter 😂 well I haven’t got the right nails for it, and she has to earn her keep somehow 🫣

I had this 1984 Raleigh Burner dropped off to me last week. The customer wants a full restoration on it, taking it back to standard so we will be losing all the blue bits and going back to black.

This one is going to take a while but I’ll keep the page updated with progress on it as it happens.

Had a few hours spare today to make a start on this 1984 Blue Max frame.

So, if like me, you didn’t know, Blue Max is made by mongoose and was sold mainly to American army camps / stores back in the 80’s so this is a rare piece of kit.

It is also the same frame shape as a mongoose Californian / Pro Class which left me in a bit of a dilemma as I’ve always wanted a Californian. So I could easily get some Californian decals and no one would be any wiser. Still undecided what the final plan is for this one but I’ve nearly got all the bits for it, just waiting on a mongoose OPC and then need to find a decent chain ring and saddle for it 🤙🏼

So far so good 😊

Picked this old thing up today. 1987 Raleigh Mag Burner, think it’s 100% original apart from the handlebars and tyres 🤙🏼

Got this 2006 reissue Haro all ready for its new owner to collect tomorrow morning.

Needed front brakes and the gyro sorting, unfortunately gyros raise my blood pressure to unreasonable levels so a friend who works for a local bike shop jumped in to help me with this one.
