Our first ever BUCS handball national finals 🏆 🤾♂️
What a weekend! Went into the weekend with high hopes after our win streak in the regional rounds, two key players getting bad injuries on the first day and some man marking led to narrow losses in our first two games.
However, the team stepped up to the challenge on the second day and we beat Stirling (overall competition winners in the end). Some great team play and solid defence from the boys. Lastly, playing our placement match and just losing again by just 1 goal to a team we previously beat with a full team. A tough pill to swallow.
A lot to learn from this experience especially since it’s our first year as a team and for the majority, their first year playing handball. Couldn’t be prouder of the boys and what we achieved this season ✅

With two wins at the weekend, the Men’s team finish the group unbeaten and move on to the BUCS Trophy National Finals in Derby. A great effort from everyone in BU Handball’s first competitive season 🤾♂️‼️

A great way to start our first ever BUCS campaign! We will be back in February to finish our South division group games and hope to qualify for the playoffs/finals.
