💥 A fantastic week of brilliant tennis for our Dorset County teams!

🎾 Dorset Men delivered an outstanding County Week, finishing with four wins from five fixtures to secure second place overall and, most importantly, promotion to Group 5.

The team finished behind Avon on rubbers despite having the same number of fixture wins highlighting just how competitive the week was.

Achieving promotion with such a young squad is a tremendous achievement and a true reflection of the talent, determination and attitude shown by every player throughout the competition – congratulations to the team 🎉

The future of Dorset Men's County tennis looks exceptionally bright👏

🎾 Dorset Ladies finished the week third in Group 6 to successfully retain their place in the Group for another year.

Their week was filled with competitive tennis, hard-fought battles and outstanding team spirit with every player showing resilience, determination and a real commitment to the team.

With strong victories over Staffordshire and Suffolk, alongside several incredibly close matches against North of Scotland, Wiltshire and Hereford & Worcestershire, the team represented the county with pride, professionalism and fantastic sportsmanship ✨

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of Dorset Tennis & Padel and deliver on our strategic priorities.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders including the LTA, clubs, venues, volunteers, coaches, schools and local partners to grow participation, strengthen programmes and ensure the organisation operates effectively and sustainably.
