Bournemouth Walking Football Club led to life-saving kidney match How a walking football club friendship led to a kidney match that saved a man's life.

On the 26th August 2026 BBC South came to film the over 65's and over 70's training session and interview some players. The purpose was to publicise our charity walking football event for Kidney Care on Sunday the 6th September 2026 at Littledown. The film is due to be shown on the BBC South Today programme starting at 6.30pm on Friday the 28th August. Check it out.

LOOKING FOR NEW PLAYERS
At our recent manager's meeting, most managers requested we advertise for more players in all age groups. If you know anyone who would be of benefit to our teams please ask them to contact us. This is for both men and women.

MORE AWARDS
Some more awards to very worthy recipients for the 2025/6 season. Miles Coppard won the player of the year for the over 60's whites. Paul Simpson won the over 70's player of the year for the whites. Also, Phil Thorpe was awarded player of the year for the Hampshire League whites. Well done lads, all very well deserved.

From Friday the 31st July 2026 you can order any item with your initials.
The club receives a voucher for every purchase which will help us when we need to buy balls, kit, equipment etc. We receive £100 for every £1000 of purchases.

OVER 50'S TRAINING
On the 1st August and the 9th August the over 50's managers are holding training sessions and would welcome any player who would like to be considered for the over 50's League Squads.
