The joke’s on us this week. Poor from everyone tonight — the heat got the better of us and we just kept making mistake after mistake. It wasn’t our night, and congratulations to Greengates FC on the win.

We move on and won’t be dwelling on this result. We know where we went wrong, and we’ll be ready to put it right next week.

This team has come on so much since our first game nearly a month ago. Every single player worked hard for each other tonight and never stopped running. We played some brilliant football and if there were live stats, we’d have probably had 85% possession in a dominant performance from start to finish.

A couple of mistakes crept in, which will always happen in football, but every time they did, the lads responded the right way — by going straight back up the other end and scoring again. 👏

Some unbelievable goals on show tonight too…

🚀 Goal of the game has to go to Bradley Jones with an absolute 30-yard screamer that nearly burst the back of the net.

🎯 But Doc Snr Conner Docherty wasn’t far behind with another 30-yard beauty, this time a perfectly placed effort into the far top corner. Then he turned into prime Pirlo after slotting into midfield from right back — apparently the opposition are still dizzy trying to track him! 😂
