Fagley Community Centre, Bradford, is now in partnership with Sandale Community Development Trust (Sandale Community Centre)
Fagley Community Centre, Bradford, has announced that it will be working with the support of Sandale Community Development Trust (Sandale Community Centre), to deliver a new range of community-based activities and resources to breathe new life into the community fabric of the Fagley area. From July 1, 2013, this partnership aims to bring together the expertise of both organisations to improve the
quality and breadth of provisions available to deal with the issues faced in the community, particularly by their children & young people. The contract will create a host of new youth sessions and community projects geared at recreation and providing opportunities in Fagley to get involved and improve their community. FYCC will be working closely with the community in the development of these scheme and welcomes the suggestions and feedback from the Fagley and wider community.

Fagley Community Centre is a Voluntary organisation and a registered charity, run by a management committee consisting mainly of local residants. The original building was opened in 1980 and underwent a major refurbishment in 2004 with the funding from Newlands S.R.B. The organisation works in partnership with an adjacent motor mechanics company to educate young people.

Sandale Community Centre is a non-profit community organisation delivering community projects to the Bradford South area. Since it began in 2008, the organisation has a proven track record providing youth sessions in Woodside, Buttershaw and Delph Hill, and has seen particular recent success working with a Young Futures project to help NEET 16/17 year olds into employment, education and training.
