We have started to do very steady canters with the ones who came first and they are looking and feeling great.
Empire and Impy only came in yesterday and started trotting today.
Looking forward to another exciting season and it would be nice to carry on as we finished the season off with them
All flying but it’s a new season and a few new horses.

Really looking forward to the new horses we will have this season.
All in all we may have 4 new ones on the track as we will see how things progress with our 3 yr old filly Coronation Lilly who is a full sister to Earths Day.
She is a lot more foreword than Earths Day was as a youngster and won’t need anywhere near as long to develop as he did. We will be hoping to get a bumper into her later in the season.when she turns 4.
Empire De Maulde and Imperial Esprit have a few more weeks of their hols as they get a little bit more time to rejuvenate their old bones lol.
Had a fantastic day at the stables yesterday when most of the Gunshot Paddocks Racing Club came over to see the newbies and enjoy a few drinks and a BBQ in the sunshine.
We are so lucky to have such a fantastic group of club members who have become friends with us and each other.
Well we will let you all know how things are progressing with their fitness as the weeks go by leading up to our first runners. Wishing all the trainers and jockeys a great season and a safe one.

Just putting a few feelers out for next season as we will be looking for a new novice rider Ideally would have had a few rides this season and preferably won and been placed although I know that’s not always possible.
You would need to be able to come over at least a couple of times each month to ride and school the horses.
We are based near Guildford in Surrey.
Any one wanting great winning opportunities as we have given many winning rides to previous novice riders

Harry Brown (2 walkovers) They would have won their prospective races which was a shame for Harry.

Well the horses are loving their holidays.
Whilst they are chilling we are planning for next season already.
Count Simon has left the ranks now and we have a new one in his place.
Harper Valley. He’s a nice sort and he’s won 5 times over hurdles and been placed 10 times. He’s jointly owned with Kate Kidney who owned Count Simon.

Empire De Maulde picked up an injury at Kingston Blount during his win yesterday.
It looked like a small nick on the side of his lower leg, but it turned out to be a puncture wound from a piece of birch.
He had it scanned and had the wound flushed out.
Luckily if didn’t show any serious issue.
So with that outcome Impy and Empire went early this morning to join Count Simon on a well deserved holiday after their amazing season.
Hopefully they have plenty of sun tan lotion with them.
