Back to school! Peace and quiet for me today! I do try to have some time not working on the school holiday, but I also find the time I try to work is very interrupted 😆 Also I can’t believe it’s June! Another year flying by. Imagine having Ronnie’s life….. just chilling, no stress, food provided when needed, love, cuddles and treats ❤️ I look over at him while watching tv and can’t help feel envious 😆 Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend, I’m looking forward to back to school tomorrow, half term is always a massive distraction! This popped up on my memories today and I want to reshare it to tell the story, for the first time.
One weekend I was watching Dancing on Ice and one of the celebrities on it was from Coronation Street, so I messaged them a message of support. They actually replied to me (which I was not expecting!) and it turned out they wanted a memory bear made!
My business was still in the early stages at this time and it was one of the first times I had used a fleece for bears, but they were so happy with what I made. I received flowers and a card from the star, and a share on their social media platform. What a lovely experience it was for the fan I am!
I used to watch Coronation street with my Dad when I was little, and have continued to do so as an adult. I just wish he was here to be able to tell him this 😢
