⚽️ And That’s a Wrap – Bridgend Town U14 Girls 2025/26 ⚽️
As the season comes to an end, it’s time to reflect on what has been a truly successful and memorable year for our girls.
Twelve months ago, there was uncertainty about who would be playing football this season. A big decision was made to keep the group together and start a new chapter with Bridgend Town, and looking back now, it was one of the best decisions we could have made.
The progress every single player has made this season has been incredible to see. Through hard work, commitment, positive attitudes, and a supportive environment, the girls have continued to develop both on and off the pitch. We are proud to have created a team culture where everyone feels safe, valued, and confident enough to express themselves while striving to reach their full potential.
This season has been about far more than results. The girls have thrived in an inclusive environment where they have been able to grow, build friendships, and enjoy their football. We’d like to thank Bridgend Town for providing that opportunity and for welcoming and supporting our players and families.
On the pitch, the girls gave everything. As the season progressed, we found ourselves challenging for the league title and although we ultimately fell just short, finishing as league runners-up is a fantastic achievement and one that every player should be immensely proud of.
Most importantly, this season has given us memories that will last a lifetime - memorable matches, plenty of development, lots of laughter, and a team spirit that has continued to grow stronger every week.
A huge thank you to all of our players, parents, supporters, volunteers, and everyone at Bridgend Town who has played a part in this journey.
