Again, it's been a while!! During lockdown I have been spending a lot of time clearing out and sorting the workshop, as well as fixing up the house a bit. I have also taught myself how to make frames..... something I have been meaning to get around to in a long while. So here's a little video of me giving new life to a reclaimed, long neglected, lovely slab of mahogany 🙂🌳🔨📐🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It's been a while!!! A little person needs a little bed so I took some reclaimed timber kindly donated by and whipped up this little beauty 👍🏼

I've been a little busy of late what with working a full time job and all, so haven't had chance to post much.
Here's a little vid of me finishing off my 3 hole guitar shelf.

Made an end grain chopping board from some super nice reclaimed Oak this week..... Forgot to record the process 🤦‍♀️managed to get this snippet of the final oiling though...... It's the best bit anyway ☺

So sanding isn't very rock 'n' roll..... But what is rock 'n' roll is saving one tree at a time. Every item I make is made from 100% reclaimed and recycled timber. This old headboard is going to be remade into two 3 hole guitar shelves to be sold at an upcoming craft fair at St Donats on Sunday 9th June. Pop along if your local.

I was asked to make a crystal holder in the shape of a moon...... Here's the process so far....

The thing about working with reclaimed timber is that every item takes a little bit longer than usual, as there is so much sanding involved.
It's a good job my fiancé is patient as she's been waiting for these doors for a very long time....... I'll just blame it on the sanding requirements!!!!

After a lovely break, I'm back in the workshop and getting on with my list of to do jobs. First on the table is a reclaimed cherry bath shelf with added folding book support and wine slot for those who like to relax 🍷 🛀 ☺
