The Malinois resembles the German Shepherd, not just in appearance but also in personality and temperament. The breed is extremely loyal, highly responsive to training and can pick up cues and commands easily.

Here's a "Not-to-do list" with four common distractions:

1. No hitting the snooze button: Get up promptly when the alarm goes off to start the day productively.
2. No scrolling in the mornings: Avoid aimlessly scrolling through your phone or social media apps to stay focused on your morning routine.
3. No comparisons to others on social media: Refrain from comparing your life or achievements to those of others on social media platforms.
4. No saying "yes" when you want to say "no": Be assertive and prioritise your own needs.

Following these guidelines can help you stay focused, reduce distractions, and maintain a healthier mindset, which is essential for overall mental health and well-being.

Overrated: choosing what to do
Underrated: choosing what NOT to do

Talking about mental health needs a soft touch but never to be avoided. Be kind and understanding saying something like "I've noticed things seem a bit off, how you are doing." Listen more than you talk, ask open ended questions, and be gentle if you notice specific things. Keep it simple, offer help, and check in from time to time. This isn't a one-time chat;it's an ongoing thing. Stay light, genuine, and focused on being there for them.

You have a voice in your head that criticises you up over the smallest things.

Does it consistently remind you that you should be doing better?

Allowing these feelings to linger can significantly impact your confidence. They may intensify, especially when you're tired or stepping outside your comfort zone.

4 tips to help you control negative self-talk:

1. Notice when you are doing it. Switch your focus to your strengths, achievements and the things you are grateful for. Switching to positive self talk isn’t easy because it doesn’t come naturally however, continuously practising it is extremely powerful.

2. Think of your mistakes as opportunities for growth and learning. Store the life lessons you learn as positives and treat it as a way of pushing yourself to continuously improve.

3. Rest. I would always notice a pattern of self doubt creeping in and things hitting me harder when I was tired. Set some boundaries in order to get some consistency in your sleep pattern. You’ll feel stronger both mentally and physically and you gain both clarity and perspective.

4. Exercise and time outdoors. Even the shortest walk can make all the difference to lifting your mood and bringing you positive energy. Exercise will have a direct impact on boosting your self confidence.

Next time you find yourself thinking you're not good enough, take a moment to pause and breathe. Remember, you're not alone in feeling this way.

Taking care of your mental and physical health is essential for personal fulfilment and lasting happiness.

When you make it a priority, you'll find yourself being more productive, bouncing back from setbacks easier, and making better decisions.

Regular exercise not only keeps you physically fit but also helps you endure the challenges that come your way. Finding a balance between work and personal life becomes less of a struggle, and you're less likely to burn out.

Feeling good about yourself and having a positive attitude plays a huge role in being successful, not just in terms of what you achieve but also in how you feel inside.

So, success isn't just about hitting goals;
it's about keeping yourself healthy and happy along the way!
