Yoga is the practice. The revision. The studying.
Life is the EXAM.
Keep doing the work - even on the days when you haven’t got the headspace and can’t be ar$ed.
I originally got into yoga for the physical, for the asanas, for the body. But as you get older, and you inevitably go through more things in life, with more experiences, more dramas, more conundrums, more everything, then all that yoga practice is your anchor to help when things take a turn.
You see, when life is good, we’re happy, we’re flying, we’re exhilarated. But what happens when life throws a curve ball? How do you react? How do you respond?
Think of it like this - you’re studying and revising for a test. It’s multiple choice. You have many options to choose how to answer that question. React and respond from a place of calm and strength. Your yoga practice has got you. 😘🙏

Love or hate Madonna - but I remember seeing this photo in an article back when I was just 18 years old - waaaaay before I even started yoga (in fact, 13 years before I even stepped into my first yoga class) - and I was just fascinated with this photo!
I obviously didn’t know it then but I was obviously drawn to yoga before I even really knew what it was. And for that I will always thank this photo - and Madonna.
And for the record - I love Madge! 😂🙏

Today we had our first of the UN-Retreat seasonal retreat series, celebrating the Spring Equinox ☀️.
With the most gorgeous group of ladies, we came together in the beautiful where we shared space and talked through our sh*t in order to shift it.
And one of the most powerful tools you can work with is our breath 🫁🙏 Use it to steady our nervous system, use it as a ‘reset button’ when you’re thrown into the sh*t, use it to connect to your body. It’s the bridge between mind and body. ❤️
A special thanks to who closed our day with the most special of sound baths, all with the backdrop of the waves as our soundtrack to accompany the sound bath. 🙏
