Toddlers Spot

Open: Every Friday 9.45-11.30am

Toddlers Spot is a parent and toddler group that has a massive toy collection and child friendly space for you and you child to play in.

It has a range of toys and activities, so you will find something age-appropriate for your baby.

Toddlers Spot has play time, craft tables, snack time and singing and story time, which ensures that you child wont be bored and will always be entertained.

Cost:
75p - For 1 adult and 1 child
£1- If you bring more than 1 adult and 1 child

First week is free.

If anyone has a problem with being able to pay, you are still welcome to come, free of charge – please do not let this put you off! Just have a quiet word when you arrive or email us first. We are just pleased to have you join us.

Toddler Spot offers seasonal activities too, such a Easter egg hunt and trips to the park.
It is such a welcoming place and perfect for parents to meet up and have a chat.

Musical Hands, Music + Movement + Signing Classes

Drusillas Park

Here's a few photos of our trip to Coombes Farm Events and Weddings on Saturday.

It was a really lovely experience, and there was lots of children and families around. My son enjoyed looking at the sheep and eventually stroked one!

It's a located in Lancing West Sussex, and only a 35-40 minute drive from Crawley.

Baby Sensory

Baby Sensory is an award winning sensory class for babies newborn - 13 months.

They use puppets, parachutes, lights, musical instruments, ribbons, glow balls and different textures which gives you a new sensory experience each week.

There is a waiting list for Baby Sensory at St Richards, Crawley. But there is another Baby Sensory class in Horley, that have spaces now.

Peppa Pig: My First Concert

Peppa Pig – My First Concert is a fun interactive introduction to a live orchestra with everyone’s favourite Pig family.

Join Peppa Pig and her family on a musical journey at their first classical concert at Brighton Dome this April.

Watch as Daddy Pig learns how to conduct an orchestra, explore all the different sounds that the instruments make and enjoy familiar songs as well as discovering some exciting orchestral pieces perfect for little ones.

Sealife Centre Brighton

Sealife Centre is a majestic aquarium on a grand scale. It has an amazing array of under water creatures, from the smallest starfish to 40 stone giant turtles. It has over 3500 sea creatures and loads of talks and feeding sessions.

The aquarium is illuminated with neon lights, so children are enchanted by the sensory lighting and enormous hall.

They have a glass bottom boat, so for an additional price, you can watch the animals swim beneath your feet and any child will love the experience.

There is so many more experiences at the Sealife Centre so head over and have fun discovering them.

Bring Your Own Baby Comedy Show

Location: Hawth Theatre, Crawley
Hawth Avenue, Crawley RH10 6YZ

Bring Your Own Baby Comedy Show is a baby friendly comedy club that hosts comedy shows up and down the country.

No show is the same, it has brand new lineup of comedians at each show, so you can go month after month and be confident that you won't see the same show twice.

BYOB comedy show is ADULT THEMED, the comedians will perform some crude, crass and down right filthy material, and although it's bring your baby, this comedy show is all for you super mothers and wonderwoman.

During the comedy show, they encourage you to do, whatever a parent has to do. From breastfeeding, playing on the soft playmats and changing babies butts, it is all acceptable to do during the show, and they understand that babies are just that - babies. So babies crying and gurgling throughout the show, is completely normal and they won't turf you out.

The comedy venue is baby friendly with a large playmat flooring area to play with your little ones, whilst you take in the show. They also provide changing tables and a decent amount of lighting so it's not completely pitch black, and a buggy area to store your prams.

The comedy show last roughly 75 minutes and has a 15 minute interval.

At the Hawth, BYOB Comedy Shows are monthly on a Wednesday. Book your ticket now, because tickets sell out fast!

AGE LIMIT OF BABIES IS 15 MONTHS because of the adult themed material. Babies do not need a ticket, you could arrive with triplets and it would be fine.

All adults welcome! I attended their last show in Brighton with my Husband and Mother-in-law, and their were plenty of daddies there too.

Lambing at Coombes Farm, Lancing

What better way to embrace the Spring season, by watching lambs being born and feeding them.

Coombes Farm allows families to come and experience sheep and cows giving birth, and although it's not guaranteed that you'll witness a lambing. There are over 800 female sheep lambing and 80 cows calving, so there's a pretty good chance.

They also offer a Tractor ride, weather permitting which sounds like an awesome experience for your little ones.

Coombes Farm also provide an adult only experience (8pm -10pm), which you and your partner, or you and your girl friends can enjoy, along with free hot drinks, so you can leave the kids at home and focus all your attention on the lambing experience.

Lambing sounds like an amazing experience and I'll be heading there is weekend with my family, so watch out for pictures.

Nuffield Health Gym (Next to Cineworld) runs a Parent + Baby Swimming class, every Wednesday at 1pm and Friday at 10am.

The swimming instructor is so warm, friendly and approachable, and the swimming classes involve singing songs, using floats, toys, balls and hoops so babies have fun and feel at ease whilst swimming.

My 12 month old son has been attending swimming classes since he was 6 weeks old and is so confident and comfortable in water, and is slowly turning into a mermaid.
