— Sport Brighton Memberships —
We have been able to figure out a very good deal with sport brighton this year in regards to polo team members. The membership it’s self will cost £95 a year and is available on the sport Brighton webpage.
Once you have become a member you are entitled to one free lesson every month! This is extremely cost efficient for you as after just 3 months you have got that money returned to you in through free lessons! On top of that you will also receive free entry, travel and subsidised accommodation to our national tournaments. So although it is a bit of an investment you do get a lot back for your money!
The university do require all members of the club to have the membership so that we are covered by their insurance. But please do message me if you feel like it may be an issue. Or even if just have a few questions 😁

Secretary: Beth Crook
I wanted to join the polo committee to become more involved with the sport, while meeting others who are similarly interested in horses. Polo adds a fun team element to horse riding, has been made made accessible by Brighton/Sussex university and anybody can learn how to play! If you have any questions, please feel free to message our Instagram page or myself/other team members directly ☺️💗 I look forward to meeting new members at practice 🐎 x x x

Since I’ve fallen in love with polo I’ve wanted to join the committee to have a voice within the club, also to give a helping hand. I’ve ridden horses my whole life competing at all disciplines but mainly show jumping. My horse Billy and I go out to competitions regularly when I’m not at uni. President: Megan Marston
Hiya guys! I’m super excited to be carrying on in the committee as your president. Having been leading the committee in previous years I am super confident that we are going to have another majorly successful season and can’t wait to get back to it.
For those new to the club this year, a little about me :))
I’ve been playing polo for the last 3 years at uni and have gone to win national 1st in the novice devision with my amazing team last winter nationals. However I’ve been riding for around 15 years and have had a number of loan horses over the years. I look forward to introducing polo to as many new people this year.

We have been having a great time training with Sarah this summer season. We have seen the teams skills improve and can’t wait to grow the team at freshers next year.
We have been busy building the new committee for the 22/23 season and will have all the new committee announced on the social media channels over the next few weeks.
