A point’s a point! The Andy’s Gas Maddogs hold on to grab a hard-fought draw! 💪🔥

Despite several last-minute changes to the lineup, the Maddogs took the game to the Pirates from the start, racing out to a 4–1 lead.

A late third-period surge from the Pirates, combined with some penalty trouble for the Maddogs, saw them claw their way back into the game, with the final result ending 4–4. 👊

It’s a point gained and another solid performance from the Maddogs! 🐾🔥

The Bristol Maddogs are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed players to join our growing hockey community.
Part of the Bristol Pitbulls umbrella, the Maddogs offer experienced players the opportunity to keep playing competitive, structured hockey while being part of a friendly and social group both on and off the ice.

We offer weekly training, structured league hockey, social events, an annual awards night, plus additional perks with local businesses thanks to the support of our sponsors.

We’re looking for players who have previously competed at a good level of hockey, including Ex-Professional, NIHL 1, NIHL 2 or Junior hockey, and who want to continue playing in a competitive but enjoyable environment.

If you miss the buzz of the dressing room, the competition on the ice and being part of a proper hockey community, the Maddogs could be the team for you.

📆 IT'S GAME WEEK! 🏒🐶

After a big win over the Bristol Wolves last time out, the Maddogs will be looking to keep the momentum rolling as the Cardiff Eagles head to Planet Ice Bristol this weekend.

Confidence is high, but the Maddogs know they'll need another strong performance against a determined Eagles side. Expect plenty of intensity, fast-paced hockey and another competitive battle as both teams chase the points.

It’s hard to look past a great team performance this week. After all, there’s no “I” in team…

There is, however, apparently a Jack Newton in nearly every goal.

Our player-coach and self-appointed goal machine took things up a level against the Wolves, contributing to four of the Maddogs’ five goals and helping drag the boys over the line.

Not bad for someone who’s supposed to be coaching everyone else.

The only issue now, Coach, is that you’ve set the standard. We’ll be expecting four goals every week from here on out. No pressure.
