The verdict is in. 🚨

Manchester City have been found guilty on 114 of the 115 charges brought against them for breaching Premier League financial rules — spanning conduct from 2009 to 2018, including accurate financial disclosure, sponsorship deals linked to their Abu Dhabi owners, and undisclosed payments to players and former manager Roberto Mancini.

No sanction has been decided yet. Under the Premier League’s rulebook, possible punishments range from an unlimited fine to a points deduction to outright expulsion — and titles could theoretically be stripped. City deny wrongdoing and are expected to appeal.

Costa Rica led 3-0 at half-time in their Nations League opener, with Carlos Mora bagging a hat-trick. Then Curaçao boss Dick Advocaat threw on Kenji Gorré, Tahith Chong and Jordi Paulina together in the 57th minute — and those three combined for all four Curaçao goals inside about 20 minutes.

Jude Bellingham, crowned again. 👑

The Real Madrid midfielder has been voted England Men’s Player of the Year for the second straight season, after a World Cup campaign that saw him score 7 goals — doubles against Mexico and Norway, plus a stoppage-time solo effort in the bronze-medal match against France.

That tally is now a record for any England men’s player at a single major tournament, as the Three Lions secured their best World Cup finish since 1966.

Nestory Irankunda just announced himself on the big stage. 😱

68 minutes into a sold-out clash with Brazil in Townsville, the Socceroos won a free-kick 25 yards out. Irankunda stepped up and blasted it into the top corner — Hugo Souza never moved.

Australia led one of the best teams on the planet, only for Brazil to sn**ch a 94th-minute equalizer through substitute Rayan. 1-1 final score, but the night belonged to a 20-year-old.

Portugal were already 1-0 up against Wales when Rúben Neves whipped in a cross from the right, leaving Ronaldo completely unmarked at the back post with the goalkeeper stranded. All he needed was a simple redirection.

Instead, the effort flew over the bar.

He thought he’d made up for it minutes later, only for the flag to go up for offside. Portugal held on to win 1-0 anyway.

Argentine keeper Gustavo Tesonotte was between the posts for Wilstermann Cooperativas, level 2-2 with Independiente de Cochabamba in the Copa Simón Bolívar, when referee Carlos Arteaga pointed to the spot in the fifth minute of stoppage time — for a challenge Tesonotte’s own side insist never happened.

His answer: he walked to the post, turned his back on the shooter, and let it in. 3-2, full time.

The Bolivian Football Federation later agreed with him — the referee was suspended indefinitely after the penalty was ruled non-existent.

The England captain has raised the idea of finishing his career in MLS while simultaneously working as a specialist NFL kicker, telling The Athletic he wants to “look at it a bit more seriously.” He even compared the pressure of a penalty kick to the pressure of a game-deciding field goal.

Kane says if he ever goes for it, he won’t treat it as a gimmick — he’d take six months to a year training beforehand to do it properly.

No player in MLS history has ever also played in the NFL. Kane wants to be the first.
