Another great effort from the SGHC U12s and U10s (Oranges), last weekend 25-Jan. Despite a tough start against Devizes and Chippenham, the teams showed real resilience and character. After the break, a renewed burst of energy saw a much-improved performance against Bath Buccaneers, with the 2–0 result not reflecting how competitive the game was.
The final match against Redland finished in a well-earned 0–0 draw, with SG creating several strong chances and consistently testing Redland’s goal. A positive end to the day and plenty to be proud of.

Two weeks ago, our under 10s mixed team festival had a record number of 20 players, many making their debut at a festival 👏🏻🎉
Great work was shown by all. Ending in a very close team A vs B, narrow win to team A 2-1

Despite the wet and cold conditions last Sunday, SGHC Youth played their first full pitch friendly against thornbury.
It was a very close game, which we lost 5-4 just before final whistle. Rematch planned for March.
Huge thankyou to all the parents for their ongoing support and to Connor, Tina and Mario for stepping in to umpire!

Awesome 1st festival of the season for our U12s.
Started with a never give up attitude to pull out a 1 all draw against North Somerset. Followed by two tough losses, but showing their resilience in both games. Which lead to another draw 1-1 Draw, only for Bath to score in last minutes.
