Just to let you all know we have a few spaces available in our swim classes at Tockington or at Kingswood School Lansdown.

Huge congratulations to Kate Shortman & Izzy Thorpe for achieving a Silver Medal yesterday at the Olympics in Artistic Swimming!!

Everyone at Sport Education Swim School are extremely proud of their achievement's representing Great Britain in Artistic Swimming which is our first ever medal success in this challenging sport.

A few of you may of been lucky enough to witness some of Kate & Izzy's training sessions at the swim school where now and again we help out with pool time.

As you may or may not know, two of our teachers Laurel Allen & Rosie Rallings have both represented Great Britain at Artistic swimming so we have quite a theme running through the swim school.

I am sure we will be holding a few sessions in September with an introduction to Artistic Swimming for any budding young girl / boy who enjoys being underwater performing various aquatic skill elements!!!

Well done again Kate & Izzy for sheer determination to shine through when things have been tough and to all the people behind the scenes that have enabled you to achieve your dreams at the Olympics!!! 👍🔥🙂🥈🏊‍♂️🏊‍❤️🇬🇧

We would like to think that the children have had a few opportunities to develop their swimming over the warmer months and can't wait to show off any new skills learnt to their teachers when we return next after each half term break.
We have had a re jiggle with a few times and it has created a few extra slots.

Lastly we are all very proud to say that two of our swim teachers Rosie & Laurel are competing this weekend in the British Artistic Swimming Championships in Nottingham and everyone at the swim school wishes them all the very best in hopefully bringing home a few medals🥇🥇!!

So very very proud to say our beautiful daughter Laurel has been selected as team captain of the GB Junior Artistic Swimming squad. We are over the moon for Laurel, all her hard work and dedication to the sport she loves has been rewarded with this recognition. Laurel started her swimming journey at the swim school along with many other children that have progressed into a competitive environment 🇬🇧👏👏❤️

Hello all, just a quick updated with regards to returning to swimming. We are hoping to start back up on Monday 12th April 2021. The intentions are for lessons to revert back to a more normal practise in terms of timings, access to the changing rooms and parents on poolside.

As I am sure you are all aware, this may be subject to change with updated information and guidance delivered by the government and Swim England concerning the vaccination programmes and the hopefully the decline of this disease.

All of us at Sport Education Swim School are looking forward to seeing you again after Easter and helping to teach your child to swim in a fun, engaging and challenging environment.

Swimming lessons return this week, we are very much looking forward to welcoming you back and seeing you all.

On behalf of myself and the team at the swim school we hope you have had a lovey Christmas and New Year with your families. It's been a very different & challenging festive period for us all to say the least!

I would also like to say a huge thank you to you from myself and the team for your continued support over the last year. The children have adapted to some challenging times taking it all in their little strides. Our thanks also extends to all the parents & guardians in adhering to the new way of life and the many changes which were implemented to ensure a safe continued return to swimming, it is much appreciated.

Let's hope the New Year brings a turn of luck for us all and we can continue to teach the kids life skill in a fun filled way!
