What we have learned since starting our business 🗃️

The biggest thing for us & this may sound obvious but there is so much more out in the universe for us that we either ignore or don’t see but we have to be open to it.

It takes time to create routines and build good habits & even longer to break bad ones.

Motivation & determination has to come from yourself, it will never last if you are always looking to others.

You have to truly believe in what you are doing, feel it in your fingers and toes, in your heart even your right kidney, you are never going to achieve or accomplish (excuse the language) half-a**ing it. Learn to commit!

We are not trying to be perfect, we are trying to be us in this crazy world!

We pre-booked our winter wonderland tickets with the option to book rollercoasters, but due to Gary's fear of heights & being up-side down this photo is the closest we got to a "big boy" rollercoaster. Even still we enjoyed the less daunting ones which are just as fun with the right person!

Patience is about understanding that progress takes time and embracing the journey. It's not about slowing down but rather maintaining a consistent effort and staying motivated towards your goals. Keep moving forward at a pace that feels right for you!

Ocelots can be found in South America & resemble a smaller version of a leopard or jaguar with their striking coats marked with rosette spots and stripes.

They are nocturnal hunters meaning they are most active during the night & have keen eyesight & hearing to locate prey.

Ocelots have a diverse diet that included over 50 species of prey (rodents, birds & small mammals) showcasing their adaptability.

Ocelots are listed as ‘least concern’ on the IUCN Red list but certain populations are at risk due to habitat loss & illegal hunting for their fur.

I tell myself this so many times throughout the week but I fail to listen, even in modern day where i always have a phone on me and can take notes i still don’t and forget what i needed to do or remember 🤦🏻‍♀️

Milan 23 - I (Sam) worked/lived abroad in Peru for over a year in the rainforest (if you didn’t already know 😉) and the one thing i didn’t realise i missed was autumn 🍂 the colours, the crisp morning air, the snow white sky and the winter sun ☀️ Dont’t get me wrong the rainforest is stunning and i would gladly live there for the rest of my life but autumn is also just as beautiful!

Blue headed macaws were one of the highlights of my trip to Peru 🇵🇪 They are Critically Endangered due to the illegal pet trade, habitat destruction and human disturbance! I was lucky enough to spot these magnificent birds 3 times around the clay lick in the early morning.

The blue headed macaw is slightly different to other macaws (Red & green, Blue & yellow) as they do not have a white orbital ring around their eye, this is a good way to identify them along with their strikingly blue head.

Last camping trip of 2023 down in Exmoor national park back in October. We were a 5 minute walk from this gorgeous lake, we attempted to walk around it but only got about half way before the cold go to much and we went back to the tent to make hot chocolate ☕️ 🥶

Early morning walkies with the little man, always love how fresh the air feels in the morning, especially when you've been cooped up instead for too long!

Always make time for things that you love, for us, it's long walks out in nature whether that is walking the dog or getting away from everyday life, and with the right person, it makes it that much better.
