After a full on social September it was great to get out for a bit of training, despite the storm 🙈 as it was probably the last XC outing we focused on a bit of technicality to see where we needed to aim our winter training but also making sure the horses were confident and had fun! 🏆🏆 Home Nations 2025 🏆🏆 Very grateful to get to take Marvel to @chardequestrian who did an incredible job of hosting, and to be part of the great bunch of horses and riders representing @bd_southandwest this year ❤️🥂 Despite plenty of drama we managed to win the stable competition and win the team competion overall!! 🤩🤩🤩 Then much to our surprise young Marvel came out on top over two days of competition out of over 30 riders to finish 🥇 individually in the Prelim! So so proud of him and he learnt and grew so much with the atmosphere ❤️ So many MASSIVE thanks to give! @carolyntaylor892 who took Marvel up and down and let me stay in her lorry for the weekend and supported me and the SW team so well along with @amanda.heath.3975 and Nicky @hayleywatsongreaves for tuning us up with some test riding in prep @hollykerr01 for giving the Marvel the once over before our trip @chloe_devoucoux who saved my butt loaning me a dressage saddle 🙏 jump saddle definitely wouldn’t have cut it! @balancedhorsefeeds for the expert nutrition And of course our team at home who kept all the others in one piece for the weekend ❤️ Marvel will be relieved to hear he gets to do some jumping again now 🤣 #horses #horsesofinstagram #homebred #onwardsandupwards #future #teamwork #horsestagram #dressage #dancing #southwestisbest

Nice run round @westwiltsequestriancentre BE100 for Marvel 😍 Best dressage to date and waaaay more to come in his flat work which is exciting 😁 More focused in his show jumping but unfortunately still a bit to much forward momentum and minimal attention span 🤣 for 3 down! Nice confident steady clear cross country 👍 That’ll be it for his eventing this year with his Home Nations competition coming and really needing to just build confidence and experience in each individual phase so the training starts for next year 😁😁😁 so rewarding with the babies to have so much progress each outing but sooo much to work on 🙈 #horses #horsesofinstagram #homebred #onwardsandupwards #future #teamwork #horsestagram #workhard
