Dai Ichi Gakko Aikido

Dai Ichi Gakko is a Aikido Dojo affiliated to Kobayashi Dojos, Japan. It is not a static art, but places great emphasis on motion and the dynamics of movement.

Our Shihan, 8th Dan Aikikai, is Yasuo Kobayashi who trained under the founder of Aikido as a martial system, O-Sensei Ueshiba, in the 1950's. Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba (often referred to by his title 'O Sensei' or 'Great Teacher').
