Balance Training is an essential part of our MOVE programme, as we believe that you can better express the strength you're building if you have the Balance to go with it, plus if you start now and gain excellent balance for your later years, you'll minimise the chances of a life changing fall.

"Hold" 5 Rounds (10 sec rests)
Fun workout from yesterday: 15 Box Jumps, 15/12 Cals Row, then 8m Unbroken Balance Beam. This was testing our members to maintain balance under some fatigue. If they came off the beam, they had to start the walk again.
5 minutes into a tough workout of Rowing and Jumping Pull Ups. This one was a real test of sensible pacing to avoid building up too much lactic acid in the working muscles
Rope Sled Pulls in todays mid afternoon session
Single Arm Jumping Split Landmine Press (I know, what a mouthful)
Great for practising core to extremity movement (generating power from your hips and core and transmitting through to your arms or legs), plus swapping Split Stances quickly (we train in this position as its part of the gait cycle and crucial for much of human movement)
