The opening celebrations launching the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games sailing & windsurfing events in Weymouth & Portland

The Battle for the Winds show is being created from an original concept developed in 2007 by Desperate Men and Cirque Bijou as response to the Legacy Trust call for commissions to create a region wide project for the Cultural Olympiad.

Just spotted this link to the ACE Cultural Olympiad and London 2012 Festival report....
The blooming 1st image is the Battle for the Winds torch waders and on page 16 Richie Smith is resplendent performing with Kernocopia,our Cornish team of wind gatherers.However although the photos are acknowledged the project is not even mentioned in the text....
Still if a picture paints a thousand words....
