SMOB Under 16’s Tournament 2025 🏉

Wow what a day for grass roots rugby! A massive thank you to the teams that came out today and took part in the tournament! Today we saw some great rugby and so much spirit!

Thank you to everyone that organised the tournament, Dale and Mike on the BBQ and everyone that helped serve in the kitchen, and of course Doris for the bar 💚🖤

Well done to North Bristol for taking home the trophy 🏆

1 week already since we cycled the 400 miles to Paris as a team 🙌🏻

What a great day at the Willowbrook centre and at the rugby club on Saturday! The boys dug deep with some help from family and friends and got the job done 🚴

Wow we raised a massive £1717 at this years Mike Purnell cup 🏆

Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported us, donated raffle prizes, purchased raffle tickets and supported the boys during the game 🎟️🏉 Another well done to St Mary’s under 16’s for bringing the cup home and a thank you to Clevedon tor a great game 🏆

In total over the last 3 years we have raised £4499.70 for in memory of Mike!

Tomorrow we are getting on our bikes and cycling the 400 miles to Paris!!

Join us at the willow brook centre in Bradley Stoke from 8am - 1pm and/or at the rugby club 12pm - 8pm! 🚲

All 3 six nations games will be shown in the club house, with the bar open and the kitchen serving some tasty chicken wings 🐔🍺
