Exciting news! I have moved across the country and settled into my new home ! So now when you send your stuff to be repaired, you'll be sending it to the ultimate home of adventure. I have had a great first week settling in. Big thanks to everyone who helped make this happen and especially to and for welcoming me to their home.

This ski jacket came to me a little worse for wear and in need of a fix up before heading out on the slopes again in a few weeks. More of a technical repair than it looks because the outer needed patching but the inner is waterproof. There is also a loose liner on top of the waterproof layer. It required a bit of surgery undoing the hem to access and sew the patches onto the first layer only and to then seal the torches on the I side to keep the garment waterproof.

Luke's bag was in need of some repair where it had started ripping at the seams.

Bags can be a tricky business and sometimes require a bit of "machine yoga" to sew inside the bag 😅 but can be worth it if it saves your trusty travel companion from becoming landfill. Got a bag in need of some TLC? Get in touch to see if it can be saved 😃

A mishap on a bike left this customer's favourite jacket a little more "breathable than desired. Working with the colour scheme on the jacket this design and arrangement was decided on to make a wonderfully visible repair with style.

I've been working hard behind the scenes on lots of different projects and am started putting some structure in place for the rest of the year. Go faster stripes with .ups
My road runners are getting a bit long in the tooth BUT I'm training for trail ultras and so am only running a few short speed sessions in these bad boys and really want to keep them going as long as possible. I decided to use pair ups to not only patch up a few holes but more importantly to add go faster stripes to assist me on my speed session.
Because the hole on the seam is quite long I decided to reinforce by also sticking some tape on the inside.
One shoe complete and drying... Will complete the other one and update tomorrow. More importantly I'll let you know how the next speed sesh goes!
Pair ups work well on soft uppers of running shoes. So if the uppers go before the soles you can keep your shoes going for miles longer 😃
