Game Day Results πŸ’›πŸ’™

Big performances, big energy and a weekend full of battles. Our teams left it all on court with some proper five-set and solid wins in the mix.

Ladies 1 – NVL 1
What a comeback from the girls! After a slow start and going 2-0 down, the team dug deep, flipped the momentum and powered through to take it 3-2. Strong mentality, relentless support for each other and a huge tie-break finish secured a massive win. Special shoutout to Martina in her final game for some unreal defensive work – you’ll be missed πŸ’›
MVP: Silvia ✨

Mens 2 – NVL 3
A strong start to the day with a 3-1 win over CoB, with solid blocking and sharp defence setting the tone! Unfortunately couldn’t carry that same consistency into the second game, taking the loss, but plenty of positives to build on.
MVPs: Ober Lee & Zac Dyer ✨

Another weekend of graft, growth and pure energy!

Game Day Results πŸ’›πŸ’™

Another busy weekend for BVC with teams competing across the leagues and the Grand Prix Finals. Plenty of great volleyball and big efforts from our junior teamsπŸ’›πŸ’™

Ladies 2 – NVL 3
What a way to close the season. Two 3–0 wins secured first place in the league and an undefeated title for the team. Strong attacking, consistent serving and a great atmosphere on court made it a fantastic final game day.
MVPs Meri & Annika ✨

Ladies 4 – B&D League
A very close match against University of Bath W3 ended in a narrow 1–2 loss, with the first set going right down to the wire. The team bounced back brilliantly in the second match, showing great determination to beat University of Bristol W3 2–0, including a strong comeback in the second set.

U18 Boys – Grand Prix Final (Silver Pool)
The team battled hard throughout the day and reached the semi-finals, finishing 4th place in the final U18 Grand Prix. While the boys were aiming for the top spot, the matches were well fought and showed great effort from the team.

U18 Girls – Grand Prix Final (Silver Cup)
After an early start and a long trip to Ashcombe, the girls battled through a tough elimination-style tournament. A tight opening match against eventual winners Wapping Wildcats ended in a narrow 2–1 loss, before the team bounced back with a 2–1 win over Severn Oaks. Another close match against MK City finished 1–2, leaving the girls with a 6th place finish. A great showcase of how much this team has improved during only their second season competing in the national Grand Prix.

Ladies 3 – B&D League
L3 started the day strongly with a 3–0 win over Plymouth Ladies, showing solid attack and defence across the match. The second game against Plymouth Uni proved tougher, with the opposition putting in a strong performance. Despite the loss, the team fought hard throughout the match.
MVPs: Amy & Rez ✨

Well done to all our teams who took the court this weekend, great effort across the club and plenty to build on πŸ’›πŸ’™
