Spent most of today on the bass grounds with a steady run of species including bass until it got too rough so spent the last hour inshore to see if there’s any sole about.
This cracker turned up first cast followed by 6 missed bites.

It’s starting to fish it’s nuts off with plenty of bass about a few cod and blondes lots of thornbacks a few whiting and congers but no doggies yet.

Well that’s Tim’s quota hit in the first 20mins.
Everyone else catching bass too along with blondes thornbacks and just the 1 conger.

Well done to Jon today landing and returning this beautiful bass of 14lb 6oz which was the obvious highlight of a lot of fish landed trip in some testing conditions.

Chucked a rod out today and Even I managed to catch a few this morning before yet another weekend of storms.

Another crazy weekend on Channel Explorer. Saturdays crew found plenty of rays cod and rockling despite the massive tides.
Sundays crew went with trying to break records but didn’t quite make it landing 133 rays plus dogs and congers.
