The most high-functioning, empathic people I work with aren’t failing. They’re not in crisis. They’re not broken.

They’ve just spent so long being the person who handles everything that they’ve lost the thread back to themselves.

Not loudly. Quietly. In the moments that should feel like enough and don’t.

If you recognise this, you don’t need more strategy. You don’t need to push harder.

You need someone who stays in the room with you while you find out what’s actually there.

DM or comment ‘self’ for more info.

Happy Friday. ✨

My client is making massive progress and that’s everything to me.

And date guy number 8 is driving two hours just to give me a hug. After a challenging time of late personally.

I’ve made a friend. A genuinely kind, thoughtful, emotionally mature, grounded human. Safe for my nervous system in a way I’m not entirely used to.

And that’s the thing I want to talk about.

Learning to receive from a safe, grounded masculine is huge for me. Huge. It’s unfamiliar in my body. A little scary if I’m honest. But I can already feel something shifting internally.

It’s been a tough few months if I’m being real - one stress and another stacking up. And then on the 1st of August my cycle started and I came down with a cold at the same time. (I NEVER get sick) Right in the window of my brother’s anniversary and his birthday. Universe is telling me something! More shedding of the old identity and integration of more of the original parts of me.

Everything happens at the right time. Everything is interconnected.

And this is the thing - even if you have found peace, stillness, joy and happiness, life is still life. It’s full of ups and downs. That never stops. What changes is how you meet and navigate it.

Our relationships are mirrors. Always. And the fact that this kind of safe, grounded energy is showing up right now tells me exactly where I’m at in my own work.

Here’s the irony - I’m significantly better at helping my clients receive than I am at receiving myself. That’s exactly how this work goes. I see most clearly in others what still needs integrating in them as well as myself.

If you’re ready to work on yours DM me RECEIVE and let’s talk Freedom of Self®. 1:1. Real. No bu****it.

For months my intuition kept saying: mountain man.

Outdoorsy. Grounded. A mountain man. That’s what I’m after with a man.

So I focused on it. Held the essence of it.

This summer the universe delivered - two mountain men and two Scottish guys. One became a client. One I dated. Two Scots, one a podcast host, one a client.

I was supposed to go to Scotland this summer. Didn’t happen. Scotland came to me instead.

Here’s what I’ve learned about intuition - it’s rarely wrong about the essence. It’s almost always wrong about the packaging. At least our mind and interpretation of it is.

You know what’s coming. You just can’t know how it arrives.

So you take the steps anyway. You follow the thread. You stay open to the delivery looking completely different to what you imagined.

The universe is literal and symbolic at the same time.

Trust it anyway.

Has your intuition ever been right about the essence but completely wrong about the packaging?

Just some of the benefits of Nature:

1. Nervous system reset - Time in nature (even 20 mins) measurably lowers cortisol and shifts you out of fight-or-flight into parasympathetic “rest and digest” mode.

2. Mental clarity / reduced rumination - Studies on walking in natural vs urban environments show nature walks quiet activity in the brain region tied to repetitive negative thinking.

3. Attention restoration - “Soft fascination” (leaves moving, water, birdsong) lets your directed-attention muscle recover - this is why you get your best ideas outside, not at your desk.

4. Nervous system co-regulation with the earth - Being still outdoors (barefoot or not) supports vagal tone and heart rate variability - your body syncing back to a slower, steadier rhythm.

5. Felt sense of expansion / perspective - Awe research shows time in vast natural spaces shrinks the sense of “self as center of the problem” and increases feelings of connection and wellbeing.

I don’t do this to escape my life. I do it to come back to it.

Grounding, cleansing, decompressing - not spiritual bypassing, actual nervous system medicine.

Nature doesn’t fix you. It reminds you you were never broken. 🌿

If you need rewilding, that’s kind of my whole thing - link in bio or DM me for more. ✨

You didn’t lose yourself. You just built a lot of armour.

Layer by layer - every time it wasn’t safe to be soft, wasn’t safe to want more, wasn’t safe to stop performing.

The armour did its job. It kept you moving when moving was all you could do.

But armour doesn’t know when the war is over. It just keeps building.

If something in you already knows it’s time to strip back the armour, DM me “RESTORE” and let’s talk. 🔥

Date guy number 7 bought me roses. 😍✨

Two weeks later I’ve got new shoots, new growth and what looks like the beginning of several new rose plants.

A gift that keeps giving! ✨

I don’t know why but this felt worth sharing today.

Maybe because abundance doesn’t always show up the way you expect it to.
Sometimes it’s a client call that lights you up.
Sometimes it’s unexpected new growth from something someone handed you on a first date.

First time for everything. New growth everywhere I look right now.

I’ll take it. 🌹

What’s growing unexpectedly in your life right now?

Drop it below. 👇 Would love to hear! ✨

I’m just going to say it.

I’m lonely sometimes. And it fu***ng sucks.

I’m 40. Five years single. I have an incredible life, incredible friends, incredible work that I love.

And I want to share it with someone. I want to make memories with someone.

Not just anyone. The right person. My person.

I miss being held. I miss the intimacy. I miss curling up on the sofa with someone. The day trips, the laughing, the goofing around, the conversations at midnight.

People say “but you have so much freedom.” 😂

Yeah. Turns out a person can have too much freedom.

I love my independence. I need it. But I’m ready to build something slowly with my best friend who also happens to be the right man.

And I think it’s okay to admit that doing life completely alone is hard work sometimes. 🫠

You’re allowed to want more. Even when what you already have is good.

If this is landing drop a 🤍 below. Let’s have the real conversation.

#40

I know myself well enough now to know I’m designed for depth and connection. We’re all wired differently and I’ve done the work to understand how I’m wired. A long time alone has given me that clarity. I know what I want. I know who I’m waiting for. My best friend, my soulmate, my husband. Not settling. Not rushing. Just ready.

Freedom of Self® isn’t about eradicating pain.

It isn’t about becoming someone who floats above the hard stuff, untouched.

Life will still happen. Stress will still show up. People will still disappoint you.

What changes is how you meet it.

When you’re fully yourself - boundaries intact, self-trust intact, connected to that most sacred part of you - you navigate life from a completely different place.

More peaceful. More grounded. More clear.

For so many of my clients, the starting point isn’t chaos. It’s a quiet disconnect. Something missing. A version of themselves they lost somewhere along the way and haven’t been able to find since.

That’s exactly what my 30-day container is for.

We reconnect you to your lost self. Not the performing self. Not the coping self. The real one.

If something in this is speaking to you - DM me FREEDOM and let’s chat.

You know it. You feel it. And yet here you are, still in the same place.

That’s not weakness. That’s a root problem and root problems don’t shift from the surface.
