I know how hard it can feel to take that first step or to take it again.
Starting the gym (or going back) isn’t just about workouts, it’s about confidence, support and feeling like you’re not doing it alone. šŸ’›

That’s why I created Second January.

Not as a ā€œnew year, new youā€ thing but as a gentle reset for anyone who wants to feel stronger, more confident and supported while learning how to train properly.

This is for you if:
• You’ve wanted to start but felt nervous
• You’ve tried before but didn’t know what to do
• You want guidance without pressure or judgement

I’m opening a small number of spots because I want this to stay personal šŸ¤

If this feels like your sign, apply via the link in my bio or just drop me a message.. we can have a chat and see if it’s right for you. ✨

Something is coming… and it’s for you if you’ve ever felt lost in the gym.

I’ve been working quietly on something that means a lot to me.

Something built for people who want to feel stronger, more confident, and supported ...without pressure or judgement.

If you’ve ever:
• Felt unsure what to do in the gym
• Felt shy starting out
• Tried before but didn’t know how to stay consistent
This might be for you.

Dropping 1st February šŸ‘€
More info coming very soon šŸ¤

I spent years trying to ā€˜be better’… without actually knowing what I was doing.
For years, I tried.
I moved more.
I ate ā€œbetter.ā€
I’d see a little progress… then fall right back to where I started.
Not because I didn’t care… but because I didn’t have clarity.
I compared myself to the girls in workout videos.
I got frustrated that I wasn’t as good, as confident, as capable.
I exercised because I felt like I had to, not because I understood my body.
Growing up, I was constantly told I needed to lose weight.
My body was monitored.
The focus was always on changing it - never on teaching me how or supporting me through it.
So I kept trying… for 5-6 years.
And sometimes those small steps were the best I could do at the time.
About a year and a half ago, something shifted.
I decided to get a coach.
And honestly?
That decision changed everything.
I didn’t just learn how to train… I learned about myself.
How strong I actually am.
How capable my body is.
How to do exercises properly so I don’t hurt myself.
How to listen to my body instead of fighting it.
How hormones affect how I feel and perform (and that I’m not ā€œcrazyā€).
How food works..without fear or guilt.
I stopped self-sabotaging.
My relationship with food improved.
My confidence grew..not because I looked a certain way, but because I knew what I was doing.
And that’s the biggest thing I’ve learned:
Confidence doesn’t come from being ā€œfit enough.ā€
It comes from clarity, consistency, and support.
So many people think they need to be ready before getting help.
But most of us already have everything we need inside us.. we just need guidance, understanding, and someone in our corner.
This journey completely changed how I see training.
And it’s exactly why I’m so excited about what’s coming next.
Stay close šŸ¤

Can we be honest for a second?

The beginning of the year can feel… a lot.

Big goals.
Big expectations.
Big pressure to feel motivated all the time.

Truth is - I don’t always feel like training either.
Some days I’d rather stay in bed, drink coffee, and avoid responsibility šŸ˜…

But I’ve learned this:
Motivation usually comes after the workout, not before it.

I never regret moving my body.
I always regret skipping it out of fear, doubt or overwhelm.

You don’t need to feel motivated.
You just need to start.

If January feels heavy - you’re not failing.
You’re human.

What’s your energy level today 1–10? ā¤ļø

Life lately ā˜•ļø

Training, working, building furniture, feeding myself, moving my body and figuring things out as I go.

Some days feel strong, some feel messy..most are a mix of everything.

Not chasing perfect.
Just showing up and putting the pieces together.

Anyone else in a ā€œbit of everythingā€ phase?

Coming back to the gym after a break or starting from zero is HARD.
I’ve been getting back into it myself lately and trust me, I know how it feels to be stiff, unmotivated, and a bit intimidated by all the ā€œperfectā€ posts online.

The truth is…nobody’s progress looks like a highlight reel 24/7. The internet is full of people pretending, and it can make you feel like you’re failing… but that’s not reality. Real life is messy, slow and full of small wins..and that’s perfectly okay.

The important part is showing up for yourself, not anyone else.
Even 10 minutes counts.
Even one session counts.
Progress doesn’t need to be flashy, it just needs to be yours.

And if you’re feeling overwhelmed or behind, remember..we’ve all been there!
If you need support, guidance, or just someone to help you take that first step - message me. You don’t have to do this alone.
Let’s start moving, one step or one rep at a time. šŸ’›šŸ’Ŗ

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start.
If 2026 feels like the year you want to work on yourself - physically or mentally - my DMs are open šŸ¤

I’ve been a little quiet on here over the last couple of months - mostly because work has been full, challenging, and pushed me well outside my comfort zone in ways I didn’t fully expect. There were moments where it felt like I was just keeping up, not necessarily moving forward.
But looking back now, I’m actually really proud of how much I’ve grown through it all.
I’m so grateful for everyone who came to classes, supported me, showed up, and trusted me with their time and energy - it honestly meant more than you know. And a huge thank you to Ellie for the opportunities and support this year šŸ¤
I also wanted this to be a little reminder - sometimes it feels like there’s no progress happening, especially when you’re in the middle of the hard work. But when you pause and look back at how far you’ve come, you start to really see and appreciate just how much you’ve done.
Ending this year grateful, a little proud, and genuinely excited for what’s to come next ✨

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year šŸŽ„āœØ

Sunday isn’t the end of the week — it’s the start of your next one 🌿
A little bit of structure, rest, and reflection today makes everything easier tomorrow.

Which part of your reset do you always skip (and want to improve)? šŸ‘‡

For years, I used to feel so guilty when I missed the gym.
But lately, I’ve realised — movement isn’t just training sessions.
I’ve been walking to work, carrying boxes, cleaning, moving house…
All of it counts. šŸ’›
Everyone’s lifestyle, steps and goals look different — and that’s okay.
Stop comparing your progress to someone else’s. Focus on your version of consistency.
šŸ’¬ What kind of everyday movement do you do without even realising it?

We’ve all believed a few of these šŸ˜…
I used to be stuck in that ā€œall or nothingā€ mindset — and it did nothing for my progress or happiness. Here’s what I’ve learned šŸ‘‡
āø»
1ļøāƒ£ ā€œI can’t eat after 6pm.ā€
Your body doesn’t suddenly store calories differently at night — it only cares about total intake. You can eat after 6pm and still make progress.
āø»
2ļøāƒ£ ā€œI have to earn sweets or cut them out.ā€
Food isn’t a reward or punishment. You can enjoy chocolate or dessert in moderation — guilt-free.
āø»
3ļøāƒ£ ā€œIf I eat too much, I have to burn it off.ā€
Exercise isn’t punishment. You don’t need to ā€œundoā€ your food choices — move because it makes you feel good, not guilty.
āø»
4ļøāƒ£ ā€œIf I’m not drenched in sweat, it doesn’t count.ā€
Sweat just means your body’s cooling down. You can crush a workout without dripping — consistency matters more.
āø»
5ļøāƒ£ ā€œLosing weight will make me happy.ā€
Happiness doesn’t come from a smaller number. It comes from feeling strong, confident, and comfortable in your body.
āø»
6ļøāƒ£ ā€œIf I eat junk food, I have to burn it off.ā€
One meal won’t ruin your progress. Balance beats restriction every time — enjoy it and move on.
āø»
7ļøāƒ£ ā€œBread is bad and makes you gain weight.ā€
Bread isn’t the enemy — it’s just food. You can absolutely eat it and still reach your goals. It’s about portions, not perfection.
āø»
šŸ’¬ We’ve all fallen for a few of these — but you can unlearn them.
When you do, everything feels easier, and you actually start enjoying the process šŸ’›
