I know how hard it can feel to take that first step or to take it again.
Starting the gym (or going back) isnāt just about workouts, itās about confidence, support and feeling like youāre not doing it alone. š
Thatās why I created Second January.
Not as a ānew year, new youā thing but as a gentle reset for anyone who wants to feel stronger, more confident and supported while learning how to train properly.
This is for you if:
⢠Youāve wanted to start but felt nervous
⢠Youāve tried before but didnāt know what to do
⢠You want guidance without pressure or judgement
Iām opening a small number of spots because I want this to stay personal š¤
If this feels like your sign, apply via the link in my bio or just drop me a message.. we can have a chat and see if itās right for you. āØ

Something is coming⦠and itās for you if youāve ever felt lost in the gym.
Iāve been working quietly on something that means a lot to me.
Something built for people who want to feel stronger, more confident, and supported ...without pressure or judgement.
If youāve ever:
⢠Felt unsure what to do in the gym
⢠Felt shy starting out
⢠Tried before but didnāt know how to stay consistent
This might be for you.
Dropping 1st February š
More info coming very soon š¤

I spent years trying to ābe betterā⦠without actually knowing what I was doing.
For years, I tried.
I moved more.
I ate ābetter.ā
Iād see a little progress⦠then fall right back to where I started.
Not because I didnāt care⦠but because I didnāt have clarity.
I compared myself to the girls in workout videos.
I got frustrated that I wasnāt as good, as confident, as capable.
I exercised because I felt like I had to, not because I understood my body.
Growing up, I was constantly told I needed to lose weight.
My body was monitored.
The focus was always on changing it - never on teaching me how or supporting me through it.
So I kept trying⦠for 5-6 years.
And sometimes those small steps were the best I could do at the time.
About a year and a half ago, something shifted.
I decided to get a coach.
And honestly?
That decision changed everything.
I didnāt just learn how to train⦠I learned about myself.
How strong I actually am.
How capable my body is.
How to do exercises properly so I donāt hurt myself.
How to listen to my body instead of fighting it.
How hormones affect how I feel and perform (and that Iām not ācrazyā).
How food works..without fear or guilt.
I stopped self-sabotaging.
My relationship with food improved.
My confidence grew..not because I looked a certain way, but because I knew what I was doing.
And thatās the biggest thing Iāve learned:
Confidence doesnāt come from being āfit enough.ā
It comes from clarity, consistency, and support.
So many people think they need to be ready before getting help.
But most of us already have everything we need inside us.. we just need guidance, understanding, and someone in our corner.
This journey completely changed how I see training.
And itās exactly why Iām so excited about whatās coming next.
Stay close š¤

Can we be honest for a second?
The beginning of the year can feel⦠a lot.
Big goals.
Big expectations.
Big pressure to feel motivated all the time.
Truth is - I donāt always feel like training either.
Some days Iād rather stay in bed, drink coffee, and avoid responsibility š
But Iāve learned this:
Motivation usually comes after the workout, not before it.
I never regret moving my body.
I always regret skipping it out of fear, doubt or overwhelm.
You donāt need to feel motivated.
You just need to start.
If January feels heavy - youāre not failing.
Youāre human.
Whatās your energy level today 1ā10? ā¤ļø

Life lately āļø
Training, working, building furniture, feeding myself, moving my body and figuring things out as I go.
Some days feel strong, some feel messy..most are a mix of everything.
Not chasing perfect.
Just showing up and putting the pieces together.
Anyone else in a ābit of everythingā phase?

You donāt need to have it all figured out to start.
If 2026 feels like the year you want to work on yourself - physically or mentally - my DMs are open š¤

Iāve been a little quiet on here over the last couple of months - mostly because work has been full, challenging, and pushed me well outside my comfort zone in ways I didnāt fully expect. There were moments where it felt like I was just keeping up, not necessarily moving forward.
But looking back now, Iām actually really proud of how much Iāve grown through it all.
Iām so grateful for everyone who came to classes, supported me, showed up, and trusted me with their time and energy - it honestly meant more than you know. And a huge thank you to Ellie for the opportunities and support this year š¤
I also wanted this to be a little reminder - sometimes it feels like thereās no progress happening, especially when youāre in the middle of the hard work. But when you pause and look back at how far youāve come, you start to really see and appreciate just how much youāve done.
Ending this year grateful, a little proud, and genuinely excited for whatās to come next āØ
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year šāØ

Weāve all believed a few of these š
I used to be stuck in that āall or nothingā mindset ā and it did nothing for my progress or happiness. Hereās what Iāve learned š
āø»
1ļøā£ āI canāt eat after 6pm.ā
Your body doesnāt suddenly store calories differently at night ā it only cares about total intake. You can eat after 6pm and still make progress.
āø»
2ļøā£ āI have to earn sweets or cut them out.ā
Food isnāt a reward or punishment. You can enjoy chocolate or dessert in moderation ā guilt-free.
āø»
3ļøā£ āIf I eat too much, I have to burn it off.ā
Exercise isnāt punishment. You donāt need to āundoā your food choices ā move because it makes you feel good, not guilty.
āø»
4ļøā£ āIf Iām not drenched in sweat, it doesnāt count.ā
Sweat just means your bodyās cooling down. You can crush a workout without dripping ā consistency matters more.
āø»
5ļøā£ āLosing weight will make me happy.ā
Happiness doesnāt come from a smaller number. It comes from feeling strong, confident, and comfortable in your body.
āø»
6ļøā£ āIf I eat junk food, I have to burn it off.ā
One meal wonāt ruin your progress. Balance beats restriction every time ā enjoy it and move on.
āø»
7ļøā£ āBread is bad and makes you gain weight.ā
Bread isnāt the enemy ā itās just food. You can absolutely eat it and still reach your goals. Itās about portions, not perfection.
āø»
š¬ Weāve all fallen for a few of these ā but you can unlearn them.
When you do, everything feels easier, and you actually start enjoying the process š
