Character dances, based on national folk dance, feature in many classical ballets such as Coppélia or Swan Lake, so in addition to the classical ballet technique and dances, the Royal Academy of Dance Grades syllabi incorporate a choice of character dances which students find particularly enjoyable to perform, especially wearing the additional uniform.😀

Our Baby Ballet Class /Pre-Primary RAD and Primary to Grade 3 RAD uniform for boys is the Royal Academy of Dance white short-sleeve leotard, black shorts,, white or black ballet socks and white or black canvas ballet shoes. Black joggers or tights and a white T -shirt or black School of Ballet T-shirt or sweatshirt can also be worn all year round or in colder months.
